If the replacement battery has been sitting in storage at a reduced resting voltage, the lock may trigger a low battery alert even though the cell is not depleted. Connect the lock to its charger and allow a full charge cycle to complete. Once the BMS reports a full resting voltage — nominally 8.4V for a 7.4V Li-ion pack — the alert will clear and the lock will read battery state accurately.

My phone's Bluetooth can't find the Door Keeper Smart Connected after the battery replacement — how do I get it back?

Power interruption clears the active Bluetooth session on the Door Keeper Smart Connected, and on some firmware versions the radio does not auto-advertise immediately after restart. Open the Somfy app, remove the lock from your paired devices list, then trigger a fresh pairing from the lock's physical pairing button while the app is in discovery mode. If the lock still doesn't appear, remove the BL7812, wait 10 seconds, reinsert it, and start the pairing process within 30 seconds of power-on while the radio is in its initial broadcast window.

The keypad accepts my code but the lock immediately re-locks itself within one second — did the battery swap reset my settings?

When the Door Keeper Smart Connected restores power, its control board can enter a safe-mode state where it completes a lock/unlock cycle and returns to locked as a self-test.
