Fits Boyue P6 e-reader, replaces original T-345769P battery pack.
3.7V, 1600mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers weeks of reading per charge on this compact e-ink device.
Connector solders directly to P6 mainboard; polarity marked on cell housing aligns with board pads.
We cycled this cell through five full charge-discharge runs on P6 hardware; BMS responded normally with no early cutoff.
After installation, charge fully via USB before first use — P6 firmware recalibrates battery percentage display when it detects a new cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Boyue P6 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (T-345769P)

This 3.7V, 1600mAh lithium-polymer cell replaces the original T-345769P battery in the Boyue P6 e-reader. It fits the P6's compact battery bay and connects to the same BMS interface as the factory cell. Capacity figure is taken directly from the product specification — 1600mAh / 5.92Wh.

  • Boyue P6 fitment: The P6 uses a single-cell Li-Polymer pack at 3.7V nominal. The flat pouch format at 69.20 × 57.22 × 3.60mm matches the original cell cavity, and the connector pinout mirrors the factory BMS handshake so the e-reader firmware reads charge state normally.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the P6 platform. The BMS accepted the new cell without fault codes, and battery percentage reported correctly after a full charge cycle was completed from storage voltage.
  • Post-swap charge cycle on the P6: After fitting this cell, connect via USB to a charger and run one complete charge cycle before use. The P6 firmware recalibrates its battery percentage display to the new cell during that first full charge — skipping it causes the indicator to read inaccurately for several sessions.

Why the P6 shows an incorrect battery percentage after a cell swap

E-reader firmware tracks charge state against a learned cell profile built up over many cycles. When a new cell goes in at storage voltage — typically around 3.6–3.7V — the firmware has no calibration data for it yet. The percentage display maps against the old profile, so it can show values like 60% on a fully charged cell or drop suddenly mid-session. One complete charge-to-full cycle rewrites the reference point and the display stabilises.

P6 not powering on after battery replacement

If the P6 shows nothing after a swap, the replacement cell has likely shipped at a voltage below the device's minimum boot threshold — typically under 3.4V. The unit will not attempt to power on below this level as a low-voltage protection measure in the BMS. Connect the P6 to a USB charger and leave it for 10 minutes without pressing the power button. Once the cell climbs above the boot threshold, the device will respond normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Boyue P6 is showing a low battery warning right after fitting the new cell — is the replacement faulty?

It is not faulty. Replacement cells ship at a storage voltage of around 3.6V, and the P6 firmware treats anything below a full charge as low without a calibration reference for the new cell. Connect to USB and charge fully without interruption. After one complete charge cycle the percentage display will read accurately.

Battery percentage on the P6 keeps jumping around — it jumped from 40% to 8% without warning.

This is a firmware recalibration issue, not a cell defect. The P6 builds its charge-state model from cycle history, and a new cell has none — so the estimate drifts until the firmware has enough data. Run two or three full charge and discharge cycles and the percentage tracking will settle. The jumps reduce significantly after the second cycle.

The P6 page turns feel slower since I swapped the battery — could the new cell cause this?

E-ink display refreshes draw a short current spike to update the screen. When the cell voltage is low or the firmware hasn't fully calibrated to the new cell, the P6 throttles some operations to protect the power rail, and page turn response can lag as a result. Charge the device to full and confirm the percentage is reading accurately. If the sluggishness continues at full charge, check the USB cable and charger output — the P6 charges at 5V and a weak source leaves the cell partially charged even when the indicator says full.
