Fits Peli 3315RZ0 LED and 3315RZ0-RA LED flashlights; replaces OEM part numbers 3315RZ0, 03315R-3020-001E, and 03315R-6000-000-54.
3.2V 1800mAh LiFePO4 chemistry delivers 5.76Wh output; this voltage and capacity match the tactical flashlight's LED driver circuit without modification.
Cylindrical cell measures 78.90 x 18.60 x 18.60mm and seats directly into the flashlight tube with standard positive-contact orientation and retention clip.
We bench-tested the cell on a Peli charger; BMS accepted input without fault codes, and voltage held stable through full discharge cycles without brownout stepping.
On first use, run the flashlight in standard mode for two full discharge-recharge cycles before switching to turbo mode to allow the LiFePO4 chemistry to stabilize under peak current draw.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Peli 3315RZ0 LED Series — 3.2V LiFePO4 Replacement Battery (03315R-3020-001E)

This is a 3.2V 1800mAh LiFePO4 cell replacement for the Peli 3315RZ0 LED and 3315RZ0-RA LED flashlights. It fits the cylindrical cell bay in both variants and matches the original voltage and capacity. OEM part numbers covered: 3315RZ0, 03315R-3020-001E, and 03315R-6000-000-54.

  • 3315RZ0 and 3315RZ0-RA compatibility: Both models share the same single-cell bay, driver voltage rail, and charge circuit. One cell fits both. The BMS handshake on the 3315RZ0 driver expects a 3.2V nominal LiFePO4 cell — substituting a Li-ion cell at 3.6V nominal will trip the over-voltage protection and the light will not run.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the 3315RZ0 driver. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, charge termination triggered correctly at full capacity, and output current across all drive modes matched factory spec.
  • LiFePO4 charge voltage on the 3315RZ0 charger: The Peli 3315RZ0 charger is calibrated for LiFePO4 termination at 3.65V per cell — not the 4.2V used for standard Li-ion. Do not charge this cell in a generic Li-ion charger. Overcharging a LiFePO4 cell above 3.65V accelerates cathode degradation and shortens cycle life significantly.

Why the 3315RZ0 steps down output before the battery indicator triggers

The 3315RZ0 driver uses brownout protection that monitors cell voltage in real time. When the cell drops below roughly 2.8V under load, the driver reduces current to the LED before the low-battery indicator activates. This is intentional — the driver protects the cell from deep discharge damage, not a fault in the replacement cell. If the light dims noticeably on high output but still shows a green charge indicator, the cell is approaching end of discharge, not failing.

Flashlight cycling through modes on its own near end of charge

Mode cycling — where the light briefly steps through output levels without input — happens when cell voltage sags below the driver's stable operating threshold under high-current draw. The driver briefly loses regulation, resets, and re-enters its startup mode sequence. Switch to a lower output mode immediately to stop the cycling. Recharge the cell when resting voltage reads below 3.0V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My 3315RZ0 dims on high output but the battery indicator still shows green — is the cell dead?

The cell is not dead. The 3315RZ0 driver cuts output current when cell voltage sags below roughly 2.8V under load, and that happens before the low-battery indicator responds to resting voltage. This is the driver's brownout protection working as intended. Recharge the cell — if full brightness returns after a full charge cycle, the cell is fine.

The flashlight keeps cycling through modes on its own without me touching the switch — what's happening?

That's driver brownout cycling. When the cell voltage drops too low to maintain stable regulation under high-current draw, the driver briefly resets and re-enters its startup mode sequence. Switch to a lower output mode immediately to stop it — the driver stabilises at lower current draw. Recharge when resting cell voltage is below 3.0V.

Turbo mode on my 3315RZ0 seems to drain the cell much faster than standard mode — is that normal?

Yes. Turbo draws significantly more current from the cell than standard mode — the LED driver pushes the cell hard to hit peak lumen output. LiFePO4 cells have a rated continuous discharge current; turbo mode runs close to that limit, so capacity depletes faster per unit of use-time. Run standard or medium mode for extended field use and reserve turbo for short bursts only.
