This 3.7V, 720mAh (2.66Wh) lithium-ion cell replaces the original battery in Becker Ready 50, Ready 50 LMU, Ready 50 LMU Plus, Ready 50 EU19, and more than 18 compatible variants. It fits the same footprint — 50.12 × 36.29 × 5.56mm — as the factory cell. Use it when the original no longer holds a charge or fails to power the unit through a navigation session.

• Ready 50 series fit: Every model in this family runs the same 3.7V single-cell architecture with an identical battery bay. The connector pinout and cell dimensions are shared across the lineup, so one cell covers the full range listed.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Ready 50 platform. The protection circuit responded correctly to cutoff thresholds at both ends — no BMS lockout, no false low-voltage trip during GPS receiver load.

When cell voltage falls below roughly 3.5V, the Ready 50 reduces power to the GPS receiver to extend operation. Lower receiver gain means weaker satellite signals get dropped from the fix calculation. Position accuracy degrades noticeably — especially in urban canyons or under tree cover where signal is already marginal. Replacing the cell restores full receiver sensitivity from the first cold start.

Ready 50 shutting off without a low-battery warning

The on-screen battery indicator on the Ready 50 is calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve. An aged or mismatched cell can hit the hardware cutoff voltage while the indicator still shows one bar. The unit powers off abruptly — no warning appears. Fitting a fresh cell re-aligns the discharge curve with the indicator. After the first full charge cycle, the warning should appear at the correct threshold again.
