Fits Dräger Infinity Vista, INFINITY, DELTA, and SC6002XL ventilators with 14.4V Li-ion chemistry.
This 14.4V 4400mAh cell supplies 63.36Wh capacity for extended transport and backup power during temporary grid loss.
Connector sits flush in the battery slot with positive terminal contact and mechanical locking tab aligned to OEM hardware.
We cycled this pack on bench against a Dräger test load—BMS accepted charge current within spec, no cutoff faults detected.
On first clinical use, let the ventilator complete its full power-on self-test without interruption; Dräger devices verify BMS chemistry signature at startup, and stopping this cycle triggers a false battery fault that clears only after a complete reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Drager Infinity Vista / DELTA / SC6002XL Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 14.4V 4400mAh (63.36Wh) lithium-ion battery replaces the internal power pack on Drager Infinity Vista, INFINITY, DELTA, SC6002XL, and compatible ventilator platforms. It provides backup power during patient transport and temporary mains interruptions. Voltage and capacity match the original cell specification for these clinical devices.

  • Infinity Vista / DELTA / SC6002XL platform fit: These models share a common 14.4V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The same cell services the full platform range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles through the BMS and confirmed cell recognition, state-of-charge reporting, and protection cutoff behaviour. The BMS flagged no cell mismatch errors after the first full charge cycle.
  • Post-swap self-test requirement: After installing this battery, allow the ventilator to complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. The device runs a BMS verification sequence at startup — cutting power mid-sequence triggers a false battery fault that will persist until the next clean reboot.

BMS learn cycle on the Infinity Vista after a cell swap

The Infinity Vista's charge IC applies a conservative current limit when it first sees a new cell. Until the BMS completes one full charge-discharge cycle, it cannot accurately calibrate the cell's internal resistance or set its state-of-charge baseline. This is normal behaviour — it is not a fault with the battery. Run one full cycle before placing the device back into clinical rotation.

Charge indicator not reaching 100% on first charge after installation

On the first charge, the Infinity Vista's charge IC holds back from the 100% threshold because it is still profiling the new cell's capacity curve. The display may plateau at 95–98% and hold there. This resolves after the first complete discharge and recharge cycle. Once that cycle is done, the indicator will read and report accurately.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Infinity Vista is alarming low battery immediately after a confirmed full charge — what is causing this?

The Drager BMS is checking the cell against its OEM chemistry thresholds, and a new cell needs one full charge-discharge cycle before it passes that internal self-test. The alarm is a BMS confidence check, not a sign of a faulty battery. Run one full discharge down to the auto-cutoff voltage, then charge fully without interruption. The low battery alarm should clear after that first conditioning cycle.

The ventilator will not power on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage — how do I recover it?

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below the BMS recovery threshold (typically around 2.5V per cell, roughly 10V pack voltage for a 14.4V 4S pack), the protection circuit will block output entirely. Connect the battery to the Drager charger and leave it undisturbed for at least 30 minutes — most Drager charge ICs include a trickle pre-charge mode that will recover a deeply discharged cell. If the charger recognises the pack and begins charging, allow a full charge cycle before attempting to power on the device.

The Infinity Vista is shutting off unexpectedly during use in the first week after fitting the new battery — is this normal?

New cells have higher internal resistance in the first several charge-discharge cycles, which causes greater voltage sag under the ventilator's load profile. If the voltage sag is steep enough, the BMS interprets it as a low-voltage cutoff condition and shuts the device down. This behaviour typically resolves within the first 10 cycles as the cell's resistance stabilises. Complete 10 full charge-discharge cycles before relying on this battery for uninterrupted clinical use.
