Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

AT&T RADIANT Core / Calypso — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (LT25H426271W)
This is a 3.85V, 2700mAh lithium-polymer cell built to replace the original LT25H426271W battery in the AT&T RADIANT Core and Calypso smartphones. It fits the U304AA and U319AA model numbers directly. Capacity figure is taken from product specifications — 10.4Wh total energy.
- RADIANT Core and Calypso shared battery platform: The U304AA (RADIANT Core) and U319AA (Calypso) run the same 3.85V battery rail, use the same connector footprint, and share the LT25H426271W part number — one cell fits both without any modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge passes on the RADIANT Core platform. The BMS accepted the charge current without fault flags, and the fuel gauge IC tracked state-of-charge through the full voltage window without triggering a protection cutoff.
- Fuel gauge recalibration after installation: On first use, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard current. The fuel gauge IC on these phones calibrates its coulomb counter against the cell's discharge curve — skipping this step on a new cell leaves the IC reading from the old curve, which causes erratic percentage reporting from day one.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the RADIANT Core after a cell swap
This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity issue. Under peak modem load or screen-on draw, the new cell's internal resistance causes a voltage dip the BMS reads as a low-cell event, triggering shutdown even when the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. The RADIANT Core's BMS cutoff threshold sits around 3.4V under load — a new cell with an uncalibrated fuel gauge IC can appear to have 25% remaining while the actual terminal voltage is already at that floor. Run one full discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% before normal use.
Phone shows wrong battery percentage after replacement
The RADIANT Core uses a fuel gauge IC that tracks cell state by learning the discharge curve of the installed battery over charge cycles. Swap the cell and that learned curve no longer matches the new cell's actual voltage-to-capacity relationship. The result is percentage readings that jump, stall, or report full charge while the phone shuts down minutes later. Fix this by running two complete discharge-charge cycles with the screen brightness low and no fast charge enabled — after two full cycles, the IC resets its reference points against the new cell's actual curve.

Frequently Asked Questions
My AT&T RADIANT Core won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?
Likely not dead, but the BMS has locked out the cell due to deep discharge below 2.5V per cell. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell until voltage climbs back above the BMS re-enable threshold of roughly 3.0V before the phone will respond to a power-on attempt.
Fast charging stopped working after I installed this battery — the phone charges, but only at the slow rate now.
This is normal behaviour on the first cycle with a new BMS. The phone's USB-PD negotiation and proprietary charge protocol handshake with the BMS chip inside the new cell — on the first cycle, the BMS defaults to standard charge current until it has completed one full charge pass and verified cell health. Charge the phone fully once at the slow rate, disconnect, then reconnect to the fast charger. The handshake should complete and fast charge will activate from that point forward.
The RADIANT Core feels warm near the battery compartment while charging the new cell — is that a fault?
Warmth during the first few charge cycles on a new lithium-polymer cell is expected. A fresh cell starts with slightly higher internal impedance than a conditioned one, and the charge IC dissipates more energy as heat until the cell's impedance settles after a few cycles. If the phone becomes hot to the touch — above what you can hold comfortably — remove it from charge and check that the replacement part number matches LT25H426271W exactly. Moderate warmth that fades after the second or third full charge cycle is not a fault.
