Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Wiko SAS / U307AS — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (LT25H426271W)
This 3.85V, 2700mAh (10.4Wh) Li-Polymer cell replaces the original battery in the Wiko SAS and U307AS Android smartphones. It uses OEM part number LT25H426271W and matches the original cell's dimensions at 70.90 × 62.20 × 4.60mm. Install it when the original cell no longer holds charge or causes unexpected shutdowns.
- SAS and U307AS compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol, which is why a single cell covers both. The fuel gauge IC on each device reads the same voltage curve from this Li-Polymer cell without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the SAS platform. The BMS accepted the cell without a protection trip, and the charge IC stepped through trickle, constant-current, and constant-voltage phases as expected.
- First-cycle fuel gauge reset: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Wiko SAS after a cell swap
A fresh Li-Polymer cell has a slightly different internal resistance profile than the aged cell the fuel gauge IC was calibrated to. Under peak load — mobile data, screen-on, or GPS active simultaneously — the new cell's voltage can dip below the BMS cutoff threshold even when the OS reports 20–30% remaining. The OS percentage is not reading actual cell voltage at that instant; it is reading a fuel gauge estimate still mapped to the old cell curve. One full discharge-charge cycle with fast charging disabled corrects the coulomb counter and eliminates premature cutoffs.
USB fast charging not working on the first cycle after replacement
On the first charge after a battery swap, the charge IC may not negotiate the fast-charge handshake with the new cell's BMS. This is a one-cycle behaviour — the BMS needs to complete one full slow charge to register the cell as authorised before it allows elevated current. Plug in via the original cable and let the phone charge fully at standard rate. Fast charging typically resumes normally on the second charge cycle without any further action.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Wiko SAS shuts off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell faulty?
The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC on the SAS is still using the discharge curve it learned from the old, degraded cell. When the new cell hits a voltage dip under screen and modem load, the BMS cuts power even though the OS shows charge remaining. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% with fast charging off. After that cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates and the shutdowns stop.
The battery percentage on my SAS jumps around erratically after the swap — sometimes it goes up without charging.
Erratic percentage readings after a cell swap mean the fuel gauge IC's stored discharge curve no longer matches the new cell's actual voltage-to-capacity relationship. The IC is interpolating between data points that belong to a different cell. A single full discharge-charge cycle — slow charge, fast charging disabled — forces the coulomb counter to relearn the curve against the new cell. After that cycle, the percentage should track smoothly without jumping.
My Wiko SAS won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before I installed it.
Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below approximately 2.5V, the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent damage — it will not pass current to the phone. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC delivers a low trickle current to bring the cell voltage back above the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 2.9V, before normal charging resumes. If the charge LED does not activate within 30 minutes, try a different cable and charger brick rated at 5V/1A or higher.
