Fits Nokia N95, N96, and T258 smartphone models replacing original battery.
3.7V 750mAh cell restores full charge cycles to aged or failed packs on this form factor.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with no modification or adapter required.
We bench tested this cell on a working N95 — fuel gauge IC accepted the new BMS handshake without fault codes.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without fast charging to let the phone's fuel gauge recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

DEASY T258 / TL1266 / TS518 / TS808 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V 750mAh Li-ion cell for Nokia smartphones running on the T258, TL1266, TS518, and TS808 battery platform — including the Nokia N95 and N96. It restores power to phones where the original cell no longer holds voltage under load. Capacity is 750mAh (2.78Wh), sourced direct from the product data.

  • Multi-model fit — T258 platform: The T258, TL1266, TS518, and TS808 share identical footprint dimensions (53.00 × 33.90 × 5.70mm), the same 3.7V single-cell architecture, and a common connector pinout. The Nokia N95 and N96 use this cell family, which is why one replacement covers all of them.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and load discharge on the N95 platform. The BMS held cutoff cleanly at the low-voltage threshold and accepted charge current without triggering protection lockout on first contact with the charge IC.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: After installing this cell, disable any fast-charge accessories and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle before normal use. The phone's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — one full cycle lets it recalibrate against the new cell before it starts reporting accurate percentages.

Why the Nokia N95 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

Nokia's fuel gauge IC tracks charge state using a coulomb counter trained on the original cell's impedance and discharge curve. A new cell has different characteristics, so the counter starts out of sync. The phone may show 100% immediately after a short charge, then drop suddenly. One full discharge below 5% followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the counter baseline. After that cycle, percentage readings stabilise.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% remaining on the replacement cell

This happens when the modem radio or display fires a high-current draw and the cell voltage drops sharply — the protection circuit reads an undervoltage event and cuts output before the fuel gauge has caught up. It is not a faulty cell; it is the fuel gauge IC reading a stale discharge model. Run the recalibration cycle described above. If shutdowns persist after two full cycles, check that the battery connector contacts are fully seated — a partial connection raises effective impedance and worsens voltage sag under load.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Nokia N95 powers on but shuts off the moment I make a call or open the camera — battery shows 40% right before it dies. What's wrong?

That's a voltage cliff under high-current load — the modem radio and camera module pull enough current to collapse cell voltage past the BMS cutoff threshold before the fuel gauge registers the drop. It means the fuel gauge IC is working from the old cell's discharge map. Run one full uninterrupted discharge (let the phone die completely) then charge straight to 100% without interruption. After that recalibration cycle, the shutdown threshold and displayed percentage will align.

Phone won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before installation — just a blank screen.

A Li-ion cell in storage self-discharges slowly, and if it dropped below roughly 2.5V the BMS locked out to prevent damage to the cell. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing any buttons. The charge IC will trickle current into the locked-out cell to bring it above the BMS recovery threshold. Once voltage climbs above 3.0V the BMS releases and the phone will power on normally.

Fast charging stopped working after I put in the new battery — phone only slow charges now even with the original Nokia fast charger.

Nokia's charge IC negotiates current rate with the battery's BMS on the first charge cycle. A new BMS sometimes defaults to standard current until it completes one full cycle and confirms cell health. Connect the original charger and let it complete one full charge to 100% without unplugging early. On the second charge cycle the IC renegotiates and fast charge resumes at the correct rate.
