Fits Fly FS504 and Cirrus 2 smartphones; replaces OEM BL9200 battery.
3.7V, 1800mAh lithium-ion cell powers calls, messaging, and apps on the FS504 platform.
Connector slides into the OEM battery slot with locking tab engagement at the base.
We bench-tested the BL9200 against FS504 hardware; the BMS accepted charge without fault codes and held stable voltage under sustained load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging runs.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Fly FS504 Cirrus 2 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BL9200)

This is a 3.7V, 1800mAh Li-ion replacement cell for the Fly FS504 and Cirrus 2 smartphones. It slots into the original battery bay and connects to the device's charge IC and fuel gauge circuit. Capacity is 1800mAh (6.66Wh), matching the OEM BL9200 specification.

  • FS504 and Cirrus 2 compatibility: Both devices share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The BL9200 part number covers both variants — the charge IC expects the same voltage profile from either model.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the FS504 platform. The BMS accepted full charge without triggering overvoltage cutoff, and the fuel gauge IC tracked cell state across the discharge curve without logging errors.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging if your device supports it and run one full discharge-charge cycle before normal use. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.

Why the FS504 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The FS504 uses a fuel gauge IC that stores a learned discharge curve from the previous cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual voltage-to-capacity relationship of the replacement. The percentage display reads from the old data, not the new cell. One complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, followed by a full charge to 100%, forces the IC to write a new baseline curve. After that cycle, percentage reporting stabilises.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops below the modem or screen load threshold before the fuel gauge reaches 0%. A fresh cell with an uncalibrated gauge can show 25% on screen while the actual open-circuit voltage has already fallen to around 3.5V under load. The phone's protection circuit cuts power to prevent over-discharge damage. Run that first full calibration cycle and confirm the phone reaches 4.2V at the charge termination point before trusting the percentage display.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Fly FS504 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?

Most likely the cell discharged below the BMS lockout threshold, typically under 2.5V, during storage. The protection circuit blocks current flow at that voltage to prevent cell damage, so the phone shows no sign of life. Connect it to a wall charger — not a computer USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. If the BMS recovers, the charge IC will trickle-feed the cell back above 3.0V and the phone will boot normally.

Fast charging stopped working on my FS504 after I fitted the new BL9200 — the phone just charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC sometimes defaults to standard constant-current charging because it hasn't yet confirmed the new cell's impedance profile. The proprietary charge protocol re-enables once the IC has logged a complete charge cycle and confirmed the cell is within expected parameters. Charge the phone fully using the original charger, let it drain to automatic shutdown, then charge again — fast charging typically re-engages from the second cycle onward.

The battery percentage on my Fly FS504 keeps jumping around erratically — it dropped from 60% to 11% in a few minutes.

The coulomb counter in the fuel gauge IC is still working from its old cell model, so the percentage figures are unreliable until recalibration completes. Erratic jumps are the IC correcting itself mid-use as it gathers real discharge data from the new cell. Force one full cycle: drain the phone to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that, the IC rewrites its stored curve and percentage readings track the actual cell voltage consistently.
