Fits HTC XDA smartphones; replaces OEM battery part number 35H10008-80.
3.7V, 1700mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full-day runtime on Windows Mobile calling, messaging, and application use.
Connector orientation matches OEM slot; no adapter needed for direct installation into XDA battery compartment.
We bench-tested this cell in an XDA unit; BMS accepted charge current without fault codes on first cycle.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without interruption — the fuel gauge IC needs to recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve before the OS stops reporting inflated percentages.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

MWG XDA — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (35H10008-80)

This 3.7V, 1700mAh lithium-polymer cell replaces the original battery in the MWG XDA Windows Mobile smartphone. It fits the OEM battery slot directly and matches the original 35H10008-80 specification. Capacity is 6.29Wh — sourced to match the factory cell dimensions of 94.33 × 50.53 × 3.49mm.

  • XDA platform fit: The XDA uses a single-cell Li-Polymer pack with a three-contact connector carrying voltage, ground, and a thermistor line for charge control. This cell matches that connector pinout and the physical envelope, so the battery door closes flush without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the XDA platform and confirmed the BMS handshake completes correctly — the device accepted charge current without fault flags and did not trigger a premature cutoff on the first cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge to the automatic shutdown point, then charge uninterrupted to 100% before normal use. The XDA's fuel gauge IC is calibrated against a discharge curve — skipping this step leaves the coulomb counter misaligned with the new cell and causes erratic percentage readings.

Why the XDA reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The XDA uses a fuel gauge IC that builds its percentage estimate from a stored discharge curve — not a live voltage reading alone. When the old, degraded cell is removed, that stored curve no longer matches the new cell's characteristics. The IC starts counting from a mismatched baseline, so 60% on screen may correspond to a cell already near its low-voltage cutoff. One complete discharge-charge cycle resets the coulomb counter and realigns the gauge to the replacement cell's actual capacity.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet recalibrated and the reported percentage is higher than the cell's actual remaining charge. Under modem or display load, the XDA draws enough current to pull cell voltage below the 3.0V BMS cutoff threshold — triggering an immediate shutdown despite a non-zero percentage on screen. The fix is a full calibration cycle: drain the phone to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% in a single uninterrupted session. After that cycle, the fuel gauge tracks the new cell accurately and the early shutdowns stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

The XDA shows 25% battery and then shuts off instantly — is the new cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC on the XDA was calibrated to the old, degraded cell's discharge curve — it reads the new cell's charge state incorrectly, so the displayed percentage is higher than the actual remaining voltage. Under modem or screen load, current draw pulls the cell below the 3.0V BMS cutoff before the gauge reaches 0%. Run one full discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption, and the shutdowns will stop.

The XDA feels warm near the battery compartment while charging the new cell — is that normal?

Some warmth is expected on the first few charge cycles with a fresh Li-Polymer cell. A new cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a worn one, so the charge IC dissipates a little more energy as heat while current flows into it. If the device is too hot to hold comfortably, stop the charge and check that the battery contacts are clean and seated correctly. After two or three cycles the impedance drops and the warmth reduces noticeably.

The XDA will not power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for several months — how do I recover it?

A Li-Polymer cell stored without use self-discharges over time. If it drops below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS locks out to prevent damage and the phone will not respond to the power button. Connect the XDA to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 30 to 60 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell to bring it above the BMS recovery threshold, after which normal charging resumes and the device powers on.
