Fits Oppo Reno4 Pro 4G models CPH2109; replaces OEM battery BLP787.
7.74V and 2000mAh capacity restores full charge cycles on this Li-Polymer cell after original degradation.
Connector seats flat against the phone's battery slot with no locking tab; verify contact alignment before closing.
We bench-tested this cell on a CPH2109 unit — BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with no fault cycles.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Oppo Reno4 Pro 4G / CPH2109 — 7.74V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP787)

This is a 7.74V, 2000mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Oppo Reno4 Pro 4G (CPH2109). It replaces OEM part BLP787 and fits directly into the Reno4 Pro 4G battery bay. When the original cell degrades — losing charge capacity or failing to hold voltage under load — this swap restores normal operation.

  • Reno4 Pro 4G / CPH2109 fit: Both model designations share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The BLP787 footprint at 86.75 × 61.55 × 4.70mm matches the original cell exactly — no bracket modifications needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on a CPH2109 unit. The BMS accepted the new cell without error flags, and the fuel gauge IC tracked state-of-charge through the full voltage window from 8.7V down to the 6.0V cutoff.
  • First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable VOOC fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes amperage into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Reno4 Pro 4G after a cell swap

The Reno4 Pro 4G uses a coulomb-counter fuel gauge that was calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve. After a cell swap, the counter still references the old curve — so when the new cell hits a voltage cliff under modem or screen load, the phone shuts down even though the reported percentage looks safe. The fix is one full discharge-to-cutoff followed by a full charge, with VOOC disabled. After that cycle, the fuel gauge IC maps the new cell's actual voltage curve and percentage reporting stabilises.

VOOC fast charge not activating on the first cycle after replacement

Oppo's VOOC protocol requires a handshake between the charge IC, BMS, and charger before high-current delivery begins. On a freshly installed cell, the BMS may not complete that handshake on the first cycle — the phone drops back to standard 5V/1A charging instead. This is not a fault. Complete one full standard-charge cycle, allow the phone to reach 100% and sit for two minutes, then reconnect the VOOC charger. The handshake completes and fast charging activates at that point.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my Oppo Reno4 Pro 4G shut off suddenly when the battery still shows 25% after replacing the BLP787?

The fuel gauge IC on the Reno4 Pro 4G was calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve. The new cell hits a voltage cliff under modem or display load before the gauge reaches zero, so the phone cuts power even though the percentage still looks healthy. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% with VOOC disabled. After that single recalibration cycle, the coulomb counter maps the new cell and shutdowns at false percentages stop.

The battery percentage is jumping around erratically after I fitted the new BLP787 — is the cell faulty?

It is not a faulty cell. The Reno4 Pro 4G's fuel gauge IC stores a learned model of the old cell's impedance and discharge curve. When a new cell goes in, the stored model no longer matches actual cell behaviour, so percentage readings swing erratically until the IC relearns the curve. Complete two full discharge-charge cycles with VOOC fast charging turned off. By the end of the second cycle the coulomb counter has enough data to track state-of-charge accurately and the jumping stops.

My Reno4 Pro 4G won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage — what do I do?

Li-Polymer cells left uncharged in storage self-discharge over time. If the cell dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell (around 5.0V pack voltage), the BMS trips into lockout mode to prevent damage and the phone will not respond to the power button. Connect the phone to a standard 5W charger — not a VOOC charger — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold, the lockout releases, and the phone powers on normally.
