Fits Panasonic G60 smartphones; replaces OEM battery EB-BSG60 and EB-BSG50R directly.
This 3.7V, 750mAh Li-ion cell delivers 2.78Wh — enough capacity to restore normal call, messaging, and app runtime on aging G60 units.
Connector type and internal contact alignment match the original battery slot without modification or adapter.
We ran discharge cycles on a bench G60 unit; the BMS accepted the cell on insertion and held voltage under modem load without cutoff artifacts.
On first charge after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC to the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Panasonic G60 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (EB-BSG60)

This is a 3.7V, 750mAh Li-ion cell for the Panasonic G60 smartphone. It replaces the original EB-BSG60 battery when the existing cell no longer holds charge or causes unexpected shutdowns. Capacity figure is 750mAh (2.78Wh) as rated.

  • G60 platform fit: The G60 uses a connector and BMS handshake shared with the EB-BSG50R reference. Both part numbers map to the same voltage rail and cell format, which is why this battery carries both OEM references.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and load on the bench. The BMS held cutoff at the correct low-voltage threshold and accepted a full charge without tripping protection mid-cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging if available and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. The G60's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — one full cycle lets it remap against this new cell before reporting accurate percentages.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Panasonic G60

This is a voltage-cliff problem, not a capacity problem. When the modem transmits or the screen peaks, current draw spikes sharply. An aged or mismatched cell cannot sustain voltage under that spike and drops below the BMS cutoff threshold — even if the OS shows 25% remaining. The fuel gauge IC is still reading from a stored estimate, not real-time cell voltage. After one full discharge-charge cycle on the new cell, the coulomb counter recalibrates and the shutdowns stop.

Phone warm near the battery compartment on the first charge cycle

A new cell comes with higher internal impedance than a cell that has been through several cycles. On first charge, the charge IC works harder against that impedance, generating more heat than you would expect on a settled battery. This is normal for cycle one. If warmth continues past the second full charge cycle, check that the battery is seated flat with no gap — any contact irregularity increases resistance at the terminal and keeps the charge IC working at elevated current.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Panasonic G60 shows 25% battery but shuts off completely — what's happening?

The OS percentage comes from the fuel gauge IC's stored estimate, not live cell voltage. Under a load spike — modem transmit, screen brightness peak — a new or recently swapped cell can momentarily drop below the BMS cutoff voltage even when the counter says 25%. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. That single cycle forces the coulomb counter to remap its curve against the actual cell, and the cliff shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my G60 is jumping around erratically after I replaced the cell — is the battery faulty?

It is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC on the G60 was calibrated to the discharge curve of the original cell. A new cell has a slightly different curve, so the IC's estimates are off until it has reference points. Let the phone discharge fully to shutdown once, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that single full cycle, the IC has enough data to track the new cell accurately and the percentage stabilises.

My Panasonic G60 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage for a few months — how do I recover it?

If a Li-ion cell discharges below roughly 2.5V during storage, the BMS locks out to prevent cell damage. The phone will not boot from that state. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 15 to 20 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold. Once the charging indicator appears on screen, the BMS has re-initialised and normal charging resumes from that point.
