Fits Technaxx C5000 smartphone; replaces OEM battery CS-NKB2ML.
3.7V 750mAh lithium-ion cell restores full capacity on devices showing degraded charge or sudden shutdowns.
Connector slides into original slot; locking tab secures pack flush against the housing frame.
We cycled this cell on a C5000 bench unit; BMS accepted charge at 500mA, voltage held steady through discharge.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Technaxx C5000 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V 750mAh Li-ion cell for the Technaxx C5000 smartphone. It fits directly in place of the original battery when the existing cell has degraded or failed completely. Capacity matches the factory specification at 750mAh (2.78Wh).

  • C5000 cell fitment: The C5000 uses a compact 53.49 × 33.44 × 6.91mm cell with a 3.7V nominal rail. This replacement matches those physical and electrical parameters so the phone's charge IC communicates with the cell without flagging a mismatch.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a controlled rig. The BMS held the charge cutoff at 4.2V and the low-voltage cutoff triggered cleanly before cell damage could occur — no runaway, no unexpected disconnect mid-cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC build an accurate discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Why the C5000 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The C5000's fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the old cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches actual cell behaviour. The OS reads voltage-based estimates against the old model, so percentages appear incorrect — often jumping or freezing at specific points. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a complete charge resets the coulomb counter and lets the IC build a fresh curve against the new cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell's internal resistance causes a voltage sag under load — typically when the modem fires or the screen brightness peaks — that drops the cell below the BMS cutoff threshold before the displayed percentage reaches zero. The fuel gauge IC hasn't yet mapped the new cell's voltage cliff, so it doesn't warn the OS in time. Let the phone shut down naturally from this point, then charge to 100% without interruption. After two or three full cycles the gauge IC recalibrates and the premature shutdowns stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

The C5000 won't power on after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few weeks — is the cell dead?

Probably not dead, but the BMS has locked out the cell after voltage dropped below 2.5V in storage. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold, after which the phone should boot normally. If the screen shows nothing after 45 minutes on the wall adapter, check that the battery connector is fully seated.

Fast charging stopped working after we fitted the replacement — the phone only trickle charges now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the phone's charge controller sometimes defaults to standard charge rates until it handshakes with the new BMS. This is normal. Run one complete charge to 100% at the slow rate, then disconnect and let the phone discharge to around 15% before charging again — the USB-PD or proprietary fast-charge protocol typically re-engages on the second cycle once the controller confirms the cell is within expected parameters.

The battery percentage jumps erratically — for example, from 60% straight to 45% without heavy use.

Erratic percentage jumps are a fuel gauge IC recalibration issue, not a faulty cell. The coulomb counter is still using the discharge model it built for the old, degraded cell, and the new cell's higher capacity throws off its voltage-to-percentage mapping. Discharge the phone fully until it shuts itself down, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. Repeat this once more and the IC will lock onto the correct curve — percentage readings stabilise within two full cycles.
