Fits Xiaomi 14 CIVI and replaces OEM battery part number BN4F.
Supplies 3.91V and 4600mAh capacity—matches the original cell output for standard processor and display load.
Connector seats into the stock slot with no physical modification; locking tab aligns vertically on the housing edge.
We bench tested this Li-Polymer pack on a 14 CIVI unit; BMS accepted the charge handshake and voltage held steady under full-screen load.
On first full cycle after installation, disable fast charging in settings—this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before USB-PD pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Xiaomi 14 CIVI / Civi 4 Pro 5G — 3.91V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BN4F)

This is a 3.91V, 4600mAh (17.99Wh) Li-Polymer replacement battery carrying OEM part number BN4F. It fits the Xiaomi 14 CIVI (24053PY09C, 24053PY09I) and the Civi 4 Pro 5G. It replaces the original cell when the phone can no longer hold charge or shuts down unexpectedly under load.

  • 14 CIVI and Civi 4 Pro 5G compatibility: Both devices share the BN4F cell format, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — the same fuel gauge IC and charge controller are used across the 24053PY09C and 24053PY09I board revisions, so one cell covers both variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the BN4F cell through a full charge-discharge cycle on a Xiaomi 14 CIVI unit. The BMS accepted charge without fault codes, and the fuel gauge IC registered the cell correctly after one complete calibration cycle.
  • First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable Xiaomi HyperCharge for one full discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current fast charging pushes significant current into an uncalibrated coulomb counter.

Why the Xiaomi 14 CIVI reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual cell chemistry, so the percentage readout drifts — often reading high early, then dropping fast near the bottom. The fix is one full uninterrupted discharge down to auto-shutdown, followed by a full charge to 100% with fast charging off. After that cycle, the coulomb counter resets its reference points against the new cell and percentage reporting stabilises.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the modem or display pulls a current spike that drops the cell voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the gauge still shows charge remaining. A fresh cell with an uncalibrated fuel gauge IC is especially prone to this in the first few cycles. Run one full calibration cycle first, then check whether the shutdowns persist. If they continue past three full cycles, measure resting cell voltage directly — it should sit above 3.7V at 20% reported charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Xiaomi 14 CIVI won't turn on at all after the new BN4F battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?

Likely not dead, but the BMS has locked out because the cell self-discharged below the 2.5V recovery threshold during storage. Plug in the original Xiaomi charger and leave it connected for 20–30 minutes without attempting to power on — the charge IC will trickle-charge the cell back above the BMS unlock voltage. If the charging indicator appears, let it reach at least 3.6V before booting.

Xiaomi HyperCharge isn't working after I replaced the battery — the phone just charges slowly on the new cell.

The USB-PD and HyperCharge handshake runs through the BMS on the new cell, and on the first cycle the charge controller defaults to standard 5V/2A until it completes an initialisation exchange. Complete one full standard charge cycle to 100%, then disconnect and reconnect the HyperCharge adapter. Most units accept the fast-charge protocol correctly from the second cycle onward.

The phone feels noticeably warm near the battery area while charging on the new BN4F cell — is something wrong?

New Li-Polymer cells have slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates more heat during the first few cycles. This is normal and reduces after three to five full charge cycles as internal impedance drops. If the phone exceeds uncomfortable skin-contact warmth or triggers a thermal warning notification, switch to a 10W standard charger until the cell breaks in, then retest with HyperCharge.
