Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ZTE Nubia Z17 Mini — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (Li3932T44P6h796137)
This 3.85V, 3000mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the original cell in the ZTE Nubia Z17 Mini, Nubia Z17 Mini Standard Edition, and NX569J. It matches the OEM part number Li3932T44P6h796137 and fits the same physical footprint at 78.56 × 60.90 × 3.70mm. The 11.55Wh capacity matches what the phone's power management IC expects to see on a fresh cell.
- Nubia Z17 Mini and NX569J fit: These variants share the same chassis dimensions, flex connector pinout, and 3.85V power rail. The BMS handshake on each model checks cell voltage and NTC thermistor resistance — this cell presents both within spec, so the system recognises it without errors.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on a Z17 Mini NX569J, monitoring BMS charge termination and cutoff voltage under screen-on and modem load. The protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage threshold and accepted a full charge cycle without thermal flags.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% on standard current. This lets the coulomb counter recalibrate its discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging is introduced to an uncalibrated gauge.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Nubia Z17 Mini after a cell swap
The Z17 Mini's fuel gauge IC holds a discharge curve from the old, degraded cell in its coulomb counter memory. When the new cell's actual voltage under modem or display load drops faster than that stored curve predicts, the phone sees a voltage cliff and shuts down as a protection response — even though the cell still has charge. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% flushes the old curve and resets the counter to the new cell's profile. After that cycle, percentage readings stabilise and cutoffs stop occurring above 10%.
ZTE Nubia Z17 Mini won't power on after sitting in storage
If a replacement cell — or the phone itself — has been stored for several months, the cell voltage can drop below the BMS lockout threshold of approximately 2.5V per cell. At that point the BMS disconnects the cell from the system entirely, and the phone shows no response to the power button or a standard charger. Connect the phone to a wall adapter rated at least 5V/1A and leave it for 15–20 minutes without pressing anything — the charge IC trickle-charges the cell until the BMS unlocks at around 3.0V, after which normal charging resumes. If there is still no response after 30 minutes, verify the charger is supplying voltage with a second device before concluding the cell is at fault.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Nubia Z17 Mini keeps shutting off around 25% after I put in a new battery — is the cell faulty?
Almost certainly not a faulty cell. The fuel gauge IC on the Z17 Mini retains the discharge curve of the old, worn cell in its coulomb counter, so when the new cell's voltage dips under screen or modem load, the phone hits what looks like zero on the old curve and cuts out. Run one full discharge to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% on standard (non-fast) charging — this forces the IC to relearn the new cell's actual voltage profile. After that cycle, shutdowns above 10% should stop.
Fast charging stopped working after I replaced the battery on my Nubia Z17 Mini — normal charger still works fine.
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the Z17 Mini's charge IC cross-checks the new cell's impedance and NTC thermistor reading before enabling high-current fast charge. If either value sits outside the expected window on a fresh, room-temperature cell, the IC falls back to standard 5V charging as a precaution. Fully charge the phone once on standard current, let the phone cool to room temperature, then reconnect your fast charger — the IC accepts high current once it has completed one reference charge cycle on the new cell.
The battery percentage on my Nubia Z17 Mini is jumping around erratically — shows 60%, drops to 40%, then jumps back up.
Erratic percentage jumps point to the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against a cell it hasn't yet profiled. The coulomb counter is comparing real-time voltage readings against a curve it built for the degraded original cell, so the mismatch causes unstable estimates. Discharge the phone fully until it shuts itself off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the phone — this gives the IC a clean reference cycle. After two full cycles the readings should track within 3–5% of actual charge state.
