This is a 15.2V, 6350mAh (96.52Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Acer Predator Triton 500 SE PT516-52s-72FE and a broad range of compatible Acer Predator and ConceptD 16-inch notebooks. It replaces a degraded or failed AP20BHU cell to restore portable power to the system. Fit the OEM part number AP20BHU before ordering to confirm compatibility with your specific board revision.

  • Predator Triton and ConceptD platform fit: These Acer notebooks share a common 15.2V four-cell Li-ion architecture and the same AP20BHU connector pinout and BMS handshake protocol — which is why one cell covers the Triton 500 SE, Triton 300 SE, and ConceptD 5 lines without modification.

Running one full calibration cycle (discharge to hibernate, then uninterrupted charge to 100%) rewrites the reference data and clears the warning on the next boot. If the warning persists beyond two calibration cycles, check that BIOS is up to date, as some PT516 firmware revisions had a bug in health reporting that a BIOS update resolves.

Laptop shutting down at 20–30% remaining under gaming or GPU load

Under combined CPU, GPU, and display load, the Predator Triton 500 SE draws bursts that can pull cell voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold before the fuel gauge reaches zero — this is called a voltage cliff. The fuel gauge IC calibrates its percentage estimate against resting voltage, not load voltage, so the displayed percentage looks fine right up until the shutdown.
