Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus ROG Strix SCAR 17 G733QR-HG061T — 15.4V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C41N2013)
This is a 15.4V, 5500mAh (84.7Wh) Li-Polymer battery for the Asus ROG Strix SCAR 17 G733QR-HG061T and related ROG Strix SCAR 17, Zephyrus S17, and Zephyrus G15 models. It replaces OEM part numbers C41N2013, C41N2013-1, 0B200-03880-100, and 0B200-03880200. If your original cell no longer holds charge or Windows reports battery health as critical, this is the direct cell swap.
- ROG Strix SCAR 17 and Zephyrus platform fit: These models share the same 4-cell 15.4V architecture, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. The SCAR 17 G733 and Zephyrus S17 GX703 series both draw from this same cell configuration, which is why one part number covers both lines.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell under sustained CPU-plus-GPU load to trigger the BMS protection thresholds. The cell held voltage through full draw without triggering an early cutoff, and charge termination landed cleanly at the rated 84.7Wh mark.
- Post-install calibration on ROG Strix: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap on this platform.
BIOS reporting battery health as poor immediately after fitting a new cell
The ROG BIOS reads health data stored in the battery's EEPROM, not from live cell voltage. When a new cell is installed, the EEPROM counters don't match what the BIOS expects from a fresh unit, so it flags health as degraded. This is a calibration mismatch, not a fault with the cell. Run the full discharge-to-hibernate then uninterrupted charge cycle described above. After two full cycles, the fuel gauge IC recalibrates and the health warning clears.
SCAR 17 shutting down at 20–30% charge shown on-screen
This is a voltage cliff issue. Under full CPU and display load, the cell voltage drops faster than the fuel gauge IC can track, and the system hits the low-voltage cutoff before the percentage readout catches up. It typically happens when the fuel gauge IC hasn't completed a calibration cycle against the new cell. Run two full discharge-and-charge cycles without interruption. After calibration, the shutdown threshold should align with the 10–12% mark at a sustained cell voltage above 13.8V.

Frequently Asked Questions
Windows shows the new battery as 0% or "plugged in, not charging" right after installation — what's wrong?
The fuel gauge IC on this platform needs at least one full calibration cycle before it reports accurately. The cell is almost certainly not dead — the IC simply hasn't mapped its voltage curve to the new cell's chemistry yet. Plug in, let it charge uninterrupted to 100%, then discharge fully to hibernate-cutoff without plugging in. After that first complete cycle, the percentage readout and charging state should normalise.
MyAsus or HWiNFO shows the Wh rating as incorrect — it's showing a different number than the 84.7Wh on the label
The Wh figure shown in software is pulled from EEPROM data the battery controller writes during calibration, not from the physical label. A freshly installed cell reports its rated design capacity until the fuel gauge IC completes a full cycle and writes updated data. Run one complete discharge-to-hibernate and charge-to-100% cycle. After that, the reported Wh figure should settle within a normal tolerance of 84.7Wh.
The battery charges fine but the SCAR 17 won't run on battery alone — it shuts off the moment the charger is unplugged
This points to the BMS not completing its handshake with the BIOS after the cell swap. On the G733 platform, the BIOS occasionally locks to AC-only mode if it doesn't receive a valid signal from the battery controller on first boot. Shut the laptop down fully, disconnect AC, hold the power button for 15 seconds to drain residual charge from the board, then reconnect the battery connector and boot on AC. On next boot the BIOS should re-detect the cell and restore battery-only operation.
