Fits Fujitsu LifeBook A6110, A6120, A6030, and A3130 models; replaces OEM part number FPCBP160.
10.8V and 4400mAh capacity matches the original pack rating for sustained CPU and display load on this generation notebook.
Connector type is a two-pin Molex male plug with a positive locking tab; orientation aligns with the battery slot on the bottom chassis.
We bench-tested this cell against an A6110 motherboard; BMS accepted the new pack on first insertion with no charge faults or voltage sag under 50W sustained draw.
On first use, run one complete discharge cycle down to the hibernation cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without interruption—this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Fujitsu LifeBook A6110 — 10.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (FPCBP160)

This is a 10.8V, 4400mAh (47.52Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Fujitsu LifeBook A6110 and related A-series notebooks. It replaces OEM parts FPCBP160 and FPCBP160AP. Compatible models include the LifeBook A3130, A6120, and A6030, among others — all sharing the same voltage rail and connector format.

  • A-series shared battery platform: The A6110, A6120, A3130, and A6030 all draw from the same 10.8V Li-ion spec and use the same physical connector with matching BMS handshake — that's why one part number covers the full range. No adaptation needed across these models.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a LifeBook A-series unit. The BMS communicated correctly with the BIOS, accepted charge without tripping protection, and reported capacity within expected tolerance across multiple cycles.
  • Post-swap calibration for the A6110: After fitting this battery, run the laptop down to hibernate cutoff under normal load — screen on, CPU active — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the false "poor health" or low-capacity warning that appears immediately after a cell swap.

BIOS reporting poor battery health right after installing a new cell

The LifeBook BIOS stores charge history and health data from the previous cell in its battery learn cycle registers. When a new cell goes in, those old values don't auto-clear — the BIOS compares actual charge acceptance against stale baseline data and flags the new cell as degraded. This is a firmware state issue, not a fault with the replacement battery. One full discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% forces the BIOS to rewrite those registers against the new cell's actual performance.

Laptop shuts down at 20–30% charge shown on the fuel gauge

The fuel gauge IC on the A6110 estimates remaining capacity using voltage curves calibrated to the original cell's chemistry profile. After a cell swap, those curves are misaligned — the gauge reads 25% while actual cell voltage has already dropped past the cutoff threshold under CPU and display load. The laptop shuts down because the cell can't sustain voltage at that draw level, even though the gauge says otherwise. Run two to three full discharge-and-charge cycles; the fuel gauge IC recalibrates its curve against the new cell and the shutdowns stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

The LifeBook A6110 BIOS shows 0% or "unknown" immediately after fitting the new battery — is the cell faulty?

It's not a faulty cell. The BIOS is reading EEPROM data left over from the old battery and can't yet map it to the new cell's profile. Run the laptop on battery under normal use until it hibernates from low charge, then charge it straight to 100% without interrupting. That single learn cycle rewrites the BIOS registers and the gauge returns to accurate readings.

The fuel gauge on my A6110 shows wildly different percentages from one minute to the next after the battery swap — why?

The fuel gauge IC hasn't calibrated its voltage-to-capacity curve against the new cell yet. It's still using the old cell's discharge curve as its reference, so small voltage changes produce big swings in the percentage shown. Complete two to three full discharge-to-hibernate and charge-to-100% cycles without interrupting them — the IC locks in the correct curve for the new cell and the readings stabilise.

The replacement battery shows the wrong Wh rating in Fujitsu system diagnostics — it lists a different number than the 47.52Wh on the product page.

The Wh figure in system diagnostics is pulled from the cell's EEPROM, which stores the rated capacity value written at manufacture. That figure can differ slightly from the measured delivered capacity due to cell chemistry tolerances. The 47.52Wh on the product page reflects actual usable energy from the cell, not the EEPROM-declared value. If the system diagnostic reads within a few Wh of 47.52, the cell is performing correctly — no action needed.
