Fits HP iPAQ 2212e, 2210, 2100 and replaces OEM part 35H00013-00.
3.7V, 2250mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full capacity to this Pocket PC device.
Connector slides into the battery slot with a single locking tab on left side.
We bench tested this cell on an iPAQ 2212e — BMS accepted the pack on first insertion, voltage held steady through a full charge cycle.
Perform a full data sync to the host computer before removing the old battery — the iPAQ stores open files and settings in RAM powered by this cell only.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HP iPAQ 2210 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (35H00013-00)

This 3.7V, 2250mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the HP iPAQ 2100, 2210, 2212, and 2212e Pocket PC handhelds. It slots into the same battery bay and connects to the same BMS circuit the device expects. Capacity figure is 2250mAh as specified — not inflated.

  • iPAQ 2100 and 2210 platform fit: These models share the same 3.7V single-cell architecture and OEM BMS handshake protocol. The connector pinout and physical dimensions match across the family — 51.95 × 39.26 × 10.80mm — so the cell seats and communicates correctly without adapter modifications.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell on an iPAQ 2210 and confirmed the BMS accepted the new cell, cleared the low-battery flag, and allowed a clean boot. Charge acceptance was verified from flat to full using the OEM cradle with no error codes thrown.
  • RAM data preservation before swap: Sync all open files and application state to the host PC before removing the battery. The iPAQ 2100 and 2210 series hold active RAM contents using main battery power — a full power removal without syncing will wipe unsaved data and open application state permanently.

Why the iPAQ 2210 loses all data after a battery swap

Unlike modern smartphones that store data in flash memory, the iPAQ 2210 keeps active application data and open files in volatile SRAM. That SRAM requires continuous battery voltage to retain its contents. Even a few seconds of zero voltage — during a cell swap — is enough to wipe everything held in RAM. A full ActiveSync backup to a host PC before the swap is the only way to protect that data.

iPAQ shows charging icon but won't complete a boot after new battery install

The iPAQ boot sequence checks for a minimum threshold voltage before allowing the OS to load. A new cell shipped in storage-safe discharge state can sit too low to pass that threshold. Place the device on the charging cradle for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on. If the boot still stalls, check cradle contact alignment — oxidised cradle pins cause intermittent charge delivery that mimics a dead cell.

Frequently Asked Questions

My iPAQ 2210 lost all my contacts and calendar after I swapped the battery — is that normal?

Yes, and it's a hardware limitation, not a fault with the battery. The iPAQ 2210 stores active PIM data in volatile SRAM, which loses its contents the moment battery voltage drops to zero — even briefly during a swap. The fix for next time is a full ActiveSync sync to a host PC before pulling the cell. If the data is gone, check whether your host PC retained a previous sync snapshot in the ActiveSync database.

The new battery charges on the cradle but the iPAQ 2212e screen flickers and the wireless sync keeps dropping — what's happening?

The iPAQ's wireless radio and backlit display are voltage-sensitive loads — they pull enough current to cause voltage sag on a cell that hasn't reached a full charge yet. A partially charged cell that reads "charged" on the icon can still sag under radio transmit load. Charge the device fully on the OEM cradle, then retest sync. If the flickering continues at full charge, check the cradle's contact pins for debris — poor contact causes voltage drop under load.

My iPAQ 2100 runs flat much faster with the new battery than I expected during barcode scanning — why?

The barcode scanner LED and any active wireless radio draw significantly more current than the iPAQ does in standby or basic PIM use. That combined load can drain a 2250mAh cell noticeably faster than light-use estimates suggest. This is normal behaviour — the cell capacity is correct at 2250mAh. If drain seems extreme, check whether the wireless radio is staying active between scans; disabling it when not syncing will reduce current draw substantially.
