Fits Nevo UEI-NEVO C3 remote control, replaces OEM part number HK-NP60-850.
3.7V, 1000mAh Li-ion cell delivers consistent IR LED output across the full discharge curve.
Cylindrical cell slides into the battery chamber with flat positive terminal facing outward.
We bench-tested the BMS on first insertion — no startup faults, stable voltage ramp.
On first install, verify positive terminal points outward; reversed polarity is the most common no-power failure.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Nevo UEI-NEVO C3 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (HK-NP60-850)

This is a 3.7V Li-ion battery rated at 1000mAh (3.7Wh), built to the HK-NP60-850 specification. It fits the Nevo UEI-NEVO C3 universal remote control. When the original cell depletes or fails, this replacement restores full control of your home entertainment setup without buying a new remote.

  • UEI-NEVO C3 fit: The C3 remote uses a single Li-ion cell at 3.7V nominal to power its IR transmitter, processor, and onboard memory. This battery matches the OEM voltage and connector footprint so the BMS handshake completes on first install.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench to confirm BMS communication, full charge acceptance to 4.2V, and clean cutoff at the low-voltage threshold without false trips.
  • Single-cell Li-ion install tip: Unlike AA-powered remotes, the C3 runs one Li-ion cell — there is no second cell to worry about. Verify polarity orientation against the markings inside the battery compartment before closing the cover, as a reversed cell registers zero voltage and the remote will not power on.

Why the C3 remote stops responding even with charge remaining

The IR LED in the C3 requires a stable voltage above roughly 3.2V to fire a signal strong enough for most AV receivers and TVs to register. As a Li-ion cell ages, its internal resistance rises — voltage sags under load even if resting voltage looks acceptable. The remote may appear to have charge, but under the burst draw of an IR pulse the cell voltage drops below the LED threshold. Replacing the cell at this point restores full IR output immediately.

Remote has to be pointed directly at the device and held closer than before

This is a classic sign of reduced IR LED drive current — not a pairing or programming issue. When battery voltage sits between 3.2V and 3.5V on a degraded cell, the IR burst is weaker and the beam angle narrows. Devices that once responded at five metres across the room may only respond at one metre with the remote aimed dead-on. Fit a fresh cell and test at normal operating distance — if range returns, the battery was the cause.

Frequently Asked Questions

I just put in the new battery and the C3 remote does nothing — no response at all. What's wrong?

The most likely cause is a reversed cell. Li-ion cells are easy to install backwards, and a reversed polarity means the remote reads zero voltage and won't power on. Open the battery compartment and check the + and − markings against the orientation printed inside the tray. Seat the battery with the positive terminal matching the marked contact and test again.

The C3 worked fine for a few weeks, then battery life dropped off sharply — it needs replacing again already. Why?

Check for a stuck or jammed button on the remote. If any button is physically depressed or caught under the housing, the remote sends a continuous IR signal and drains the cell far faster than normal use would. Press each button firmly to confirm it springs back cleanly. If no button is stuck, also check that the remote isn't sitting face-down against a surface that presses the keys — reposition it and the drain rate should return to normal.

The remote works but I have to press each button two or three times before the TV or receiver responds. Is that a battery issue?

Yes — inconsistent button response is usually the cell sitting just above the low-voltage cutoff. The IR LED fires on the first press but the burst is too weak for the receiver to decode reliably. Resting voltage may still read above 3.0V, but under load the cell sags below the 3.2V threshold the IR circuit needs. Replace the cell and the first-press response rate should return to normal.
