Fits Logitech Wireless DJ Music System remote control model R-RF11; replaces OEM part 190301-0000.
3.7V lithium-ion cell rated 950mAh delivers sustained IR LED output across full charge cycle without voltage sag.
Single-cell cylindrical format fits the remote's battery slot with standard spring contacts; polarity marked on casing.
Bench testing confirmed stable BMS output under continuous button press cycles; no early shutoff at operating threshold.
Install with correct polarity — reversing the cell causes immediate remote failure; verify + end faces the spring contact.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Logitech Wireless DJ Music System / R-RF11 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (190301-0000)

This 3.7V 950mAh Li-ion battery fits the Logitech Wireless DJ Music System remote control (R-RF11), replacing OEM part numbers 190301-0000, R-IG7, and 190304-2000. It powers the wireless remote used to operate the DJ mixing system. When the original cell degrades, this replacement restores full wireless control range and button responsiveness.

  • Wireless DJ Music System and R-RF11 compatibility: Both the Wireless DJ Music System remote and the R-RF11 share the same 3.7V Li-ion cell spec and connector footprint, so one battery covers both units without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the remote PCB. The protection circuit held stable at 3.7V nominal and cut off correctly at the low-voltage threshold, preventing cell damage during full discharge.
  • Li-ion remote storage tip: If this remote sits unused for weeks between DJ sessions, store it with the battery at roughly 50% charge rather than fully topped off — Li-ion cells held at 100% for extended periods lose capacity faster than those stored at mid-charge.

Why the Wireless DJ remote loses range before the battery fully depletes

The IR LED in the remote requires a minimum voltage to fire at full intensity. As the Li-ion cell ages and its internal resistance rises, voltage sags under the brief high-current draw of each button press. The LED still fires, but at reduced output — so the remote works close up but not across the room. The battery may still show charge on a meter, but under load it can't sustain the 3.2–3.4V the LED circuit needs. Replacing the cell restores full IR output distance.

Remote completely unresponsive after fitting the new battery

The most common cause is reversed polarity — the cell is installed with the positive and negative terminals swapped. Li-ion cells in remote housings can seat either way physically, so the remote shows no response at all rather than partial function. Check the polarity markings inside the battery compartment and align the + terminal on the cell with the + contact on the housing. Once correctly oriented, the remote should respond immediately without any pairing or reset step.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Logitech DJ remote stopped reaching the receiver across the room — do I need to re-pair it or is it the battery?

No re-pairing needed — this is a battery voltage issue. When the Li-ion cell's internal resistance rises with age, it can't sustain enough voltage under the current spike of each button press, so the IR LED fires weakly. The remote still works at close range because the LED fires at all, just not at full output. Fit a fresh 3.7V cell and test range from across the room.

The battery drains noticeably faster than it did when the remote was new — what causes that?

Li-ion cells lose usable capacity with each charge cycle, so after 18–24 months of regular use the 950mAh cell holds significantly less charge than it did originally. A stuck or partially depressed button can also create a parasitic draw that runs the cell down between sessions. Check the buttons aren't catching in the housing, then replace the cell — if drain stays high after that, inspect the button contacts for debris.

Some buttons on the DJ remote only respond every second or third press — is that a contact problem or the battery?

Intermittent button response in a Li-ion remote is usually the battery dropping below the consistent voltage threshold the IR trigger circuit needs, not a physical contact fault. Each press draws a brief current spike, and a degraded cell can't deliver that spike reliably every time. Test with a multimeter — a resting voltage below 3.5V on a cell that's supposedly charged confirms the cell has lost capacity. Replace the battery and retest before opening the remote to chase contact issues.
