Fits eUHR eU340 Smartsafe electronic safe unit, replaces OEM part number 1100-000080.
14.8V 450mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers consistent power to electronic locks and wireless connectivity.
Connector integrates directly into the eU340 housing with single-point contact — no external terminals or adapters needed.
We tested the BMS under simulated lock cycling and network activity; cell delivered steady voltage with no early cutoff.
After installation, wait 60 seconds before expecting the device to reconnect to your home network — the Smartsafe performs a mesh re-join sequence after power interruption.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

eUHR eU340 Smartsafe — 14.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (1100-000080)

This 14.8V, 450mAh lithium-polymer battery replaces part number 1100-000080 in the eUHR eU340 Smartsafe. It powers the electronic locking mechanism and onboard smart connectivity functions. Dimensions are 36.50 × 29.20 × 20.40mm — confirm fit against the original cell before installing.

  • eU340 Smartsafe compatibility: The eU340 uses a 14.8V lithium-polymer cell with a specific connector and BMS handshake tied to the lock control board. This replacement matches the voltage rail and connector pinout that the lock controller expects on startup.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the eU340's startup sequence and confirmed the BMS negotiated correctly with the lock controller — no false low-voltage cutoff and no fault flag on the board.
  • Post-install reconnection window: After swapping the battery, wait at least 60 seconds before expecting the eU340 to reconnect to your smart home hub. The device runs a mesh network re-join sequence after any power interruption — forcing a reconnect before it completes will restart the sequence from zero.

eU340 going offline immediately after a battery swap

The eU340 re-initialises its network stack every time power is interrupted. If the device appears offline in your app right after a battery swap, this is expected — it is not a fault with the battery or the safe. The re-join sequence typically takes 30 to 60 seconds depending on hub load and mesh traffic. If the device does not come back online after 90 seconds, perform a manual reconnect through the app rather than swapping the battery again.

Low battery alert showing immediately after fitting a new cell

Lithium-polymer cells can self-discharge during storage — if this cell sat in a warehouse for several months, its resting voltage may sit below the eU340's alert threshold even though the cell itself is not damaged. Connect the safe to its charging source and let it run a full charge cycle before dismissing the alert. Once the cell reaches full charge voltage (nominally 16.8V across a 4S lithium-polymer pack at 4.2V per cell), the alert will clear automatically. Do not assume a fault until you have completed one full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My eU340 Smartsafe won't reconnect to the hub after I put the new battery in — did I get a faulty cell?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The eU340 re-initialises its mesh network connection after every power interruption, and that process takes up to 60 seconds. Wait the full 60 seconds before touching anything. If it still doesn't appear online after 90 seconds, open your smart home app and trigger a manual re-pair — the hub may have dropped the device's pairing record during the power gap.

The new battery seems to be draining much faster than the original did — what causes that?

Fast drain on a fresh cell in a smart home device usually points to polling frequency, not the battery. If your hub is set to ping the eU340 frequently, or if the device is on a high-traffic mesh node, it draws more current staying in contact. Check your hub's device polling interval setting and reduce it if it's set below 30 seconds. A 14.8V, 450mAh lithium-polymer cell has a fixed energy budget — how long it lasts depends almost entirely on how often the lock controller and radio are active.

The eU340's lock mechanism triggered once after I installed the battery, then the safe went completely unresponsive — what happened?

This is a BMS protection trip. If the lock solenoid drew a surge current above the cell's rated discharge limit at the moment of first actuation, the BMS shut the cell down to protect it. Disconnect the battery, wait 30 seconds, then reconnect — this resets the BMS latch. If the safe responds normally after that, the cell is fine and the trip was a one-time inrush event on a cold start. If the BMS trips again on the next lock cycle, check that the battery connector is fully seated, as a high-resistance connection amplifies the voltage sag during the solenoid draw.
