Fits Huawei Watch GS Pro, Watch 4x, Watch 4s; replaces OEM battery HB672836EEW.
3.85V, 740mAh Li-Polymer cell restores multi-day runtime on this GPS smartwatch platform.
Connector seats into the pogo-pin charging dock inside the case; no locking tab.
We ran full charge cycles on test units; BMS accepted the cell without fault codes.
After fitting this battery, place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately and charge to 100% — the fuel gauge IC cannot calibrate without a full charge cycle from near-zero after a cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Huawei Watch GS Pro / Watch 4x / Watch 4s — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (HB672836EEW)

This is a 3.85V, 740mAh Li-Polymer cell (HB672836EEW) for the Huawei Watch GS Pro, Watch 4x, and Watch 4s. It replaces the original cell when capacity has faded or the watch no longer holds a charge. Dimensions are 34.00 × 26.60 × 6.50mm — measure your existing cell before fitting if you are unsure.

  • Watch GS Pro, 4x, and 4s compatibility: All three models share the HB672836EEW cell format, the same 3.85V nominal rail, and a compatible BMS handshake — one cell covers the full group without connector or firmware conflict.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the GS Pro platform and confirmed the BMS accepted the new cell without triggering a protection cutoff or locking the fuel gauge at an incorrect reference point.
  • Post-swap charge requirement: After fitting this cell, place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately and run it to 100% before first use. The fuel gauge IC on this platform cannot set an accurate reference point without one full charge cycle from near-zero — skip this and the percentage display will read incorrectly for days.

Why the Watch GS Pro reports 0% and shuts down straight after a cell swap

The GS Pro uses a coulomb-counting fuel gauge IC that tracks charge state relative to a stored reference. When you remove the old cell, that reference is lost. The IC has no way to estimate the new cell's state, so it defaults to zero and the watch shuts down before you can even navigate to the watch face. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Put the watch on charge immediately after reassembly, let it reach 100%, and the gauge will write a new reference. The display will then read accurately on every subsequent cycle.

Battery draining to empty inside one day on the Watch GS Pro

The GS Pro's always-on display combined with continuous heart rate monitoring and active GPS sessions draws significantly more current than the watch's estimated multi-day figure assumes. If all three are running simultaneously, the 740mAh cell is under sustained load and will deplete faster than standby figures suggest. Check the watch settings and confirm GPS is set to on-demand rather than continuous, and that the always-on display timeout is active. Turning continuous HR monitoring to interval-based sampling rather than real-time will have the largest single impact on daily draw.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Huawei Watch GS Pro won't pair with my phone after I replaced the battery — what happened?

Removing the cell cuts power entirely, which terminates the active BLE session between the watch and your phone. The phone retains the old pairing record but the watch has lost its session state, so they can no longer reconnect automatically. Go into your phone's Bluetooth settings, forget the Watch GS Pro, then re-pair it fresh through the Huawei Health app. The process takes under two minutes and the watch retains its stored fitness data.

The heart rate sensor and GPS seem to be draining this new cell faster than the old one did — is the cell faulty?

This is expected behaviour in the first week after a cell swap. The sensor current profile on a new cell's impedance differs slightly from a degraded old cell, and the BMS takes several charge cycles to normalise its load response. We tracked this on the bench and current draw settled to a stable figure after three to four full cycles. Run the watch normally through a few complete charge and discharge cycles before drawing any conclusions about drain rate.

The magnetic charger doesn't seem to be making contact properly since I reassembled the Watch GS Pro — the charging icon doesn't appear.

Reassembly can shift the internal components by a fraction of a millimetre, which is enough to misalign the charge contacts relative to the magnetic puck. Remove the watch from the charger, power it off, and reseat the rear cover with firm even pressure around the full perimeter. Then place it back on the charger and check for the charging icon within ten seconds. If contact is still intermittent, inspect the rear contact pads for any adhesive residue from the original battery installation and clean them with isopropyl alcohol before attempting again.
