Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Huawei Watch GT3 Pro 46mm — 3.87V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (HB572728EFW)
This 3.87V, 510mAh Li-Polymer cell is a direct replacement for the battery inside the Huawei Watch GT3 Pro 46mm. It fits the 46mm chassis specifically — not the 43mm variant. Voltage and connector match the original HB572728EFW specification.
- GT3 Pro 46mm platform fit: The 46mm and 43mm GT3 Pro models use different cell sizes and connector orientations. This cell is sized and wired for the 46mm board only. Fitting it to the smaller chassis will not work — the connector will not seat correctly.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the GT3 Pro 46mm platform. The BMS accepted the new cell without flagging a fault, and the fuel gauge IC responded correctly after a full charge cycle post-swap.
- Post-swap charge protocol for GT3 Pro 46mm: Place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately after fitting this cell and charge to 100% before first use. The fuel gauge IC on this platform loses its reference point when the original cell is disconnected. Without a full charge cycle from near-zero, the gauge cannot recalibrate — the watch will show inaccurate state-of-charge readings.
Heart rate sensor current draw on a freshly fitted cell
The GT3 Pro 46mm uses a multi-LED optical heart rate sensor that runs continuous sampling when wrist detection is active. On a new cell, the internal impedance is slightly higher than a settled cell, and the BMS may deliver current less efficiently during the first several charge-discharge cycles. This can make battery drain appear faster than expected in the first week after a swap. The behaviour normalises as the cell completes its initial cycles — no settings change is needed.
Watch not pairing with phone after battery replacement
Removing the battery cuts power to the BLE module and clears its active session state. When the watch restarts with the new cell, the phone's Huawei Health app may no longer recognise the device automatically. Open Huawei Health, navigate to the device management screen, remove the GT3 Pro entry, then re-add the watch as a new device. Re-pairing takes under two minutes and restores all sync functions. Do not attempt to pair until the watch has completed its first full charge to 100%.

Frequently Asked Questions
My GT3 Pro 46mm shows 0% and won't turn on right after I swapped the battery — is the new cell dead?
The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC on the GT3 Pro 46mm loses its charge reference when the original battery is disconnected, so it reads 0% on the new cell regardless of actual charge state. Place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately and leave it until it reaches 100%. The gauge recalibrates during that first full charge cycle, and the watch will power on normally once it has enough voltage — typically above 3.5V.
Battery draining in one day after the swap — it used to last much longer. What's wrong?
Check whether always-on display and continuous heart rate monitoring are both active. On the GT3 Pro 46mm, those two features running simultaneously are the single largest current draw on the platform. A new cell at 510mAh will not outlast an older degraded cell if those settings are now both enabled. Turn off always-on display in Settings → Display, or set heart rate monitoring to every 10 minutes rather than continuous — either change will extend charge cycles significantly.
The magnetic charger isn't registering after I reassembled the watch — no charging indicator appears.
This is almost always a contact alignment issue introduced during reassembly. The GT3 Pro 46mm charge contacts sit on a small recessed pad on the case back, and even a slight shift in the rear cover seating can break the magnetic charger's connection. Remove the watch from the charger, press firmly around the entire edge of the rear cover to reseat it flush, then place it back on the charger. If the indicator still does not appear, check the charger pins for debris and clean with a dry cloth — the contacts need metal-to-metal contact at both pins to initiate charging.
