Oppo Watch 46mm — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (XE910)

This is a 3.85V, 380mAh lithium-polymer cell that replaces the original XE910 battery in the Oppo Watch 46mm. It restores power to the display, processor, heart rate sensor, and Bluetooth stack when the original cell has degraded or failed. Dimensions are 29.20 × 23.20 × 5.14mm — measure your existing cell before ordering if your unit has been serviced before.

  • Oppo Watch 46mm fitment: The 46mm case uses a specific cell footprint and connector orientation that differs from the 41mm variant. This cell matches that footprint exactly — voltage rail, connector tab position, and BMS handshake points align with the 46mm mainboard.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on the Watch 46mm platform and confirmed the BMS accepted the new cell without fault codes, the fuel gauge IC initialised correctly after a full charge cycle, and all sensors resumed normal polling.
  • Post-swap charging protocol: After fitting this cell, place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately and run it to 100% before first use. The fuel gauge IC on this platform loses its reference point during cell removal and cannot recalibrate without a complete charge cycle from near-zero.

Why the Oppo Watch 46mm BMS rejects a new cell on first boot

The Watch 46mm uses a coulomb-counting fuel gauge that tracks charge state continuously. When the cell is swapped, the IC loses its stored reference and can flag the new cell as out-of-range, preventing normal boot or showing a fault state. This is not a defective battery — it is the IC waiting for a known reference point. A full charge to 100% from a low state resets the counter and clears the flag.

Watch not pairing to phone after battery replacement

Removing the battery terminates any active BLE session between the watch and the paired phone. The phone retains the old session record but the watch boots with no session data, so the two devices no longer recognise each other. Go to the phone's Bluetooth settings, forget the watch, then re-pair through the Oppo Health or HeyTap Health app from scratch. The watch must be powered on and showing the home screen — not the charging screen — before the pairing handshake will complete.

My Oppo Watch 46mm shows 0% and won't turn on after I fitted the new battery — is the cell dead?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC on the Watch 46mm loses its charge reference the moment the old cell is disconnected, so it reports 0% and blocks normal boot until it has a known reference. Place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately after fitting the battery and leave it until it reaches 100%. Once the IC completes that full cycle, the watch should boot and display an accurate charge level.

Battery on my Oppo Watch 46mm is draining in a single day after the swap — it used to last much longer.

A new cell at a different impedance profile causes the heart rate sensor and always-on display to draw slightly more current than they did against the worn original cell, and this settles within the first five to seven charge cycles. Check whether always-on display and continuous heart rate monitoring are both enabled simultaneously — that combination is the single largest current draw on this platform. Turn off always-on display or set heart rate to interval mode rather than continuous, and re-evaluate drain after five full charge cycles.

The magnetic charger isn't registering on my Oppo Watch 46mm after I replaced the battery — no charging animation appears.

The charge contacts on the Watch 46mm case are spring-loaded pogo pins that need precise alignment with the back cover. If the rear panel shifted even slightly during reassembly, the pins won't seat against the charger pads and no current flows. Remove the watch from the charger, press the rear cover firmly until you feel it click flush, then reseat it on the charger. If the animation still does not appear, check that no adhesive residue is sitting on the pogo pin contacts and clean them with a dry cotton swab.
