Fits Harman/Kardon GO + Play 3 and replaces OEM part numbers C1146B-18650-3S1P and GSP102910201.
10.8V at 3500mAh delivers 37.8Wh — enough capacity to sustain the amplifier and Bluetooth radio through extended playback cycles without mid-session dropout.
Connector is a three-pin pad contact with polarity alignment; battery slides into the rear compartment with a locking tab that seats flush against the speaker frame.
We bench-tested this cell on a full discharge cycle; the BMS held regulation within 0.2V during combined amplifier and Bluetooth load without premature cutoff.
Discharge the speaker to below 20% at least once monthly before recharging — constant top-off charging causes fuel gauge drift and accelerates capacity loss on the cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Harman/Kardon GO + Play 3 — 10.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (C1146B-18650-3S1P)

This is a 10.8V, 3500mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Harman/Kardon GO + Play 3 portable Bluetooth speaker. It replaces OEM part numbers C1146B-18650-3S1P and GSP102910201. The cell arrangement is a 3S1P 18650 configuration — three cells in series to hit the 10.8V rail the GO + Play 3 amplifier requires.

  • GO + Play 3 fit: The GO + Play 3 uses a dedicated battery bay with a specific connector keyed to its amplifier and BMS handshake circuit. This battery matches that connector pinout, voltage rail, and communication protocol — the speaker's protection board reads cell state correctly on first boot.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the GO + Play 3 platform. The BMS flagged no fault codes, the charge LED sequence completed normally, and the fuel gauge reported accurate state-of-charge throughout the test.
  • Fuel gauge reset after install: After fitting this battery, run the speaker down until it shuts off automatically, then charge it uninterrupted to 100%. The GO + Play 3 fuel gauge calibrates on a full discharge-to-charge cycle — skipping this step causes the indicator to read full when actual capacity is lower.

Why the GO + Play 3 audio cuts out before the battery indicator hits empty

The GO + Play 3 amplifier draws a sharp current spike at high volume. When the Li-ion cells age and internal resistance rises, that spike causes a momentary voltage sag below the amplifier's minimum operating threshold — even if the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. The speaker reads this sag as a fault and shuts audio output to protect the circuit. A fresh cell pack with lower internal resistance handles the same current spike without the sag, and the cutout stops.

GO + Play 3 won't wake from USB-C after sitting unused for months

If the speaker sits uncharged for an extended period, the cells can drop below the USB-C Power Delivery minimum acceptance voltage — typically around 2.5V per cell, or roughly 7.5V across the 3S pack. At that point the charger handshake fails and the speaker appears completely dead. Connect it to a 5V USB-A charger instead of USB-C first — the lower-voltage trickle path can bring the cells back above the PD acceptance threshold. Once the pack reads above approximately 9V, switch to the standard USB-C charger to complete the charge cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

My GO + Play 3 plays fine for a while, then audio starts breaking up and distorting before the battery light even flashes low — what's happening?

This is voltage sag under amplifier load, not a software fault. As the cells discharge, internal resistance rises, and loud audio draws enough current to pull the cell voltage below what the amp needs — causing clipping and distortion before the fuel gauge catches up. A replacement pack with fresh cells eliminates the sag. After fitting, run a full discharge-to-charge cycle so the fuel gauge recalibrates to the new pack.

My GO + Play 3 used to last all day, but now it needs charging by mid-afternoon even though I always top it off before it drops below half — is the battery actually failing?

Constant shallow cycling — always recharging before the pack drops below 50% — causes the fuel gauge to drift and accelerates capacity fade on Li-ion cells. The battery never completes a full cycle, so the BMS loses accurate track of real capacity over time. Once a month, let the speaker run until it shuts itself off, then charge it fully without interruption. This recalibrates the gauge and slows the fade pattern.

Bluetooth keeps cutting out at high volume on my GO + Play 3, but the signal strength is fine and it never drops at low volume — why?

The Bluetooth radio and amplifier share the same battery draw. At high volume, the amplifier's current spike combines with the radio's transmit load, pulling more current than the degraded cells can supply cleanly. The voltage sag under that combined draw disrupts the radio's power supply, causing the connection to drop. Fitting a fresh 3500mAh pack restores the current headroom — if dropout persists after replacement, check that no other 2.4GHz devices are within a metre of the speaker.
