Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Mipro MA-100su/du & MA-303su/du — 14.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (MB-10)
This is a 14.8V, 2600mAh (38.48Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Mipro MB-10 pack. It fits the MA-100su, MA-100du, MA-303su, MA-303du, and related Mipro wireless portable PA systems. Voltage and cell count match the original four-cell series configuration these amplifiers require.
- MA-100 and MA-303 platform fit: Both model families share the same 14.8V four-cell battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — which is why one MB-10 pack covers both lines. Swapping between these models carries no electrical risk if the voltage matches.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack on an MA-100du at sustained output. The BMS held the discharge curve flat through the mid-range and tripped low-voltage cutoff cleanly without allowing cell sag below the protection threshold. No false shutdowns occurred during the test cycle.
- Monthly discharge cycle for MA-100 users: If the MA-100 lives on a charger between events and rarely drops below 50%, the fuel gauge drifts over time and the speaker may report full charge while actual capacity is significantly lower. Run the battery down below 20% at least once a month before recharging to recalibrate the gauge.
Audio distorting before the battery indicator reaches empty on the MA-100
The MA-100's amplifier stage draws a sharp current spike at high output levels. When the cell voltage sags under that load — even with charge remaining — the amplifier clips before the battery indicator triggers low. This is voltage sag under load, not actual cell failure. The indicator reads state of charge at rest voltage, not under the amplifier's peak draw. If clipping starts at medium volume with bars still showing, check resting voltage at the battery terminals — anything below 13.5V under light load points to a cell that can no longer hold voltage under the amplifier's combined draw.
MA-100 warm to the touch in its carry bag during extended play
The amplifier and battery both generate heat during discharge — the amp through its output stage, the cells through internal resistance. Inside a closed fabric bag, that heat has nowhere to go and stacks. Sustained temperature above 40°C accelerates Li-ion degradation measurably faster than normal use. For events running longer than two hours, pull the MA-100 out of any insulating bag or case and allow airflow around the chassis. If the housing feels hot rather than warm, the battery is discharging under thermal stress — pause playback and let it cool before continuing.

Frequently Asked Questions
My MA-100 shows a full charge but the audio cuts out after about an hour — is this a battery fault or a speaker fault?
This is almost always fuel gauge drift on the battery, not a speaker fault. When the MA-100 is regularly topped off before it drops below 50%, the gauge loses calibration and reads optimistic. The cell capacity is genuinely lower than the indicator shows. Discharge the new MB-10 replacement fully below 20% on its first three cycles, then recharge completely — this re-anchors the gauge to actual capacity.
The Bluetooth connection drops every time the MA-100 hits a loud passage — it reconnects immediately at lower volume. What's happening?
At peak audio output, the amplifier and the wireless radio module draw simultaneously. If the battery can't sustain voltage under that combined spike, the radio module briefly loses power and drops the link. This is voltage sag under high combined load, not a Bluetooth fault. Check the resting cell voltage — if it reads below 14.0V on a pack that shows mid-charge, the cells can no longer hold voltage under the amp's peak draw and the pack needs replacement.
The MA-100 refused to charge after sitting unused for three months — the charger light didn't come on at all. How do I recover it?
A deeply discharged Li-ion pack can fall below the minimum acceptance voltage the charger needs to detect the cell and begin charging. Leave the pack connected to the charger for 30–45 minutes without interruption — most chargers include a trickle pre-charge circuit that slowly raises cell voltage until the main charge stage kicks in. If the charger light still doesn't respond after that period, measure cell voltage at the terminals; anything below 10V across all four cells indicates deep discharge damage and the pack will not recover safely.
