This is a 3.8V, 3400mAh (12.92Wh) lithium-polymer battery for the Acer Iconia Tab 7, covering models A1-713 and A1-713HD. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by a complete uninterrupted charge corrects the map and stops premature shutdowns.

Fast charging not available after fitting a replacement cell

The Iconia Tab 7's charge controller negotiates charge rate during the first accepted charge cycle on a new cell. Until that cycle completes, the device may fall back to standard 5V charging speeds. This is not a fault with the replacement battery — it is the controller validating the new cell's impedance profile. Charge the tablet fully from near-flat without interruption once, and normal charge rate resumes on subsequent cycles.
