Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus Transformer AiO P1801 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C11-P1801)

This is a 3.7V, 5130mAh lithium-polymer battery for the Asus Transformer AiO tablet. It fits the P1801 and P1801-B037K models. Install it when the original cell no longer holds a charge or shuts the tablet down unexpectedly.

  • P1801 series compatibility: The P1801 and P1801-B037K share the same battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers the full range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a P1801 unit. The BMS accepted the new cell without fault codes, and charge current stepped down correctly as the cell approached full capacity.
  • Fuel gauge reset after installation: After fitting this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge it uninterrupted to 100%. This forces the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate against the new cell's actual capacity curve and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that commonly appear after a swap.

Transformer AiO shutting down at 15–25% battery remaining

The P1801's display and wireless components draw combined load spikes that exceed what a degraded — or freshly installed, uncalibrated — cell can deliver without hitting the BMS low-voltage cutoff. The BMS reads the voltage cliff as an empty cell and triggers shutdown even though the percentage indicator hasn't reached zero. This is a fuel gauge calibration issue, not a cell defect. Run one full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, and the shutdowns will stop once the gauge IC maps the new cell's discharge curve.

Fast charging unavailable on the Transformer AiO after a battery swap

After a battery replacement, the charge IC sometimes defaults to a conservative charge profile until it completes one full accepted cycle with the new cell. This appears as slow charging even on a charger that previously delivered faster rates. It is not a fault with the replacement cell or the charger. Complete one full charge from near-empty to 100% without interruption, and the charge IC will resume normal charge current on subsequent cycles.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Transformer AiO tablet shows 40% battery but just shuts off without warning — is that the new battery?

That's the fuel gauge IC still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, not a fault with the replacement. The BMS hits its low-voltage cutoff before the gauge catches up, triggering an early shutdown. Run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge it uninterrupted to 100%. That single full cycle resets the calibration and the premature shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my P1801 is jumping around after the replacement — it shows 80% then suddenly drops to 55%.

Erratic percentage readings after a swap happen because the fuel gauge IC is still using the old cell's capacity map. It can't accurately track state-of-charge on a new cell with a different internal resistance profile. Do one full discharge to automatic shutoff followed by a complete uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that cycle, the gauge IC recalibrates and the percentage stabilises.

The Transformer AiO feels warm near the battery area while charging — should I be concerned?

Mild warmth during the first few charge cycles on a new cell is normal. The charge IC is running at full current against a fresh cell with low internal resistance, which generates more heat than a partially degraded original battery would. As long as the tablet is not hot to the touch and the warmth fades once charging completes, nothing is wrong. If it stays hot after the charge cycle ends, check that the USB-C or dock connection is fully seated and the charger output matches the rated 5V spec.
