Fits Lenovo Tab P11 Pro models TB-J706 and TB132F; replaces OEM part L22D2P31.
3.87V, 8000mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers 30.96Wh to restore full-day tablet operation.
Connector mates directly to the internal battery socket; physical dimensions 183.65 x 96.80 x 2.80mm.
Bench testing showed normal BMS voltage ramp on first charge with no early cutoff signals.
After installation, run one full discharge to shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — resets fuel gauge calibration against the new cell and fixes inaccurate percentage display.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (TB-J706 / TB132F) — 3.87V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (L22D2P31)

This is a 3.87V, 8000mAh Li-Polymer battery that replaces part number L22D2P31 in the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro tablet. It fits models TB-J706 and TB132F — the 11.5-inch Android tablet used for productivity, streaming, and document work. Install this when the original cell no longer holds a usable charge through a normal day.

  • TB-J706 and TB132F fit confirmed: Both variants run the same 3.87V power rail and use the same L22D2P31 connector pinout. The BMS handshake protocol is identical across the two board revisions, so one cell covers both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a TB132F board. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, protection thresholds tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff, and the charge IC reported full capacity without fault codes.
  • Fuel gauge reset after installation: After fitting this battery, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the tablet. This gives the fuel gauge IC a clean reference point against the new cell and corrects the percentage drift that almost always appears after a swap.

Tab P11 Pro shutting down at 15–25% remaining

This happens because the OLED display and active WiFi together pull enough current to create a sharp voltage drop in the cell — a voltage cliff the BMS reads as empty. Aged original cells hit this cliff early because internal resistance has risen, making the sag worse under combined load. A new cell has lower internal resistance, so the voltage stays higher under the same draw. After one full discharge-recharge calibration cycle, the fuel gauge maps the actual capacity curve and the premature shutdowns stop.

Fast charging unavailable after battery replacement

Some Tab P11 Pro units show fast charge as unavailable or grayed out immediately after a battery swap. The USB-PD negotiation layer waits for one completed charge cycle before re-enabling higher wattage delivery on a new cell — this is a firmware-level safeguard, not a fault. Plug in the original charger, let it run from low to full without interruption, and fast charge availability returns on the next session. Do not switch chargers mid-cycle during this first run.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Tab P11 Pro is showing 60% battery but shuts off immediately — why?

The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve, so the percentage it reports no longer matches the actual charge in the new cell. Run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. That single cycle gives the gauge a correct reference point and resolves the mismatch. After that cycle, the reported percentage tracks real capacity accurately.

Fast charging stopped working on my Tab P11 Pro after I swapped the battery — is something wrong?

Nothing is wrong. The tablet's firmware holds off USB-PD high-wattage delivery until one full charge cycle completes on a new cell — it treats an unrecognised capacity curve as reason to throttle input. Plug in the original charger and let it run from a low state to 100% without interruption or unplugging. Fast charge re-enables automatically on the next charging session once that first cycle registers.

The battery percentage drops fast from 100% but then slows down — is this cell defective?

Not defective — it's fuel gauge drift. The gauge was calibrated against the old cell and overestimates how quickly the new one depletes at the top end of the curve. The fix is one complete discharge-to-shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that cycle, the IC recalculates the curve against the actual cell chemistry and the percentage steps become even across the full range.
