This 3.7V, 3750mAh lithium-polymer battery replaces the original cell in the Nuvision 10.1" tablet, including model TM1088C. It matches the OEM part number 1ICP3/90/128 1S1P and fits the physical bay dimensions at 142.32 x 96.82 x 3.48 mm. Use this when the original battery no longer holds a charge, swells, or fails to power the tablet past the boot screen.

  • TM1088C compatibility: The Nuvision 10.1" line runs a single-cell 3.7V Li-Polymer architecture with a flat connector routed to the charge IC on the main board. The TM1088C shares this rail and connector pinout, so the same cell services both models without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through charge and discharge on the TM1088C board. The charge IC accepted the cell without fault flags, BMS protection tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff, and the tablet resumed normal operation through display and Wi-Fi load.

The charge IC reads this sag as a low-voltage cutoff condition and shuts the tablet down even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. This is not a fault with the new battery — it is a calibration mismatch between the fuel gauge IC and the new cell's actual discharge curve. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% corrects the cutoff threshold.

Nuvision tablet stuck in a reboot loop after battery replacement

If the TM1088C reboots repeatedly after a battery swap, the cell voltage is likely below the minimum threshold the bootloader needs to complete POST. Connect the tablet to a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on — do not press the power button during this window. The charge IC needs time to bring the new cell up from storage voltage, which typically sits around 3.6–3.7V, to the 3.8V floor the bootloader requires. Once the charge LED changes state or the charging animation appears, the tablet should boot normally.

Warmth at the charge IC location during the first few cycles on a new cell is expected.
