Fits Samsung Galaxy Tab E SM-T567 and SM-T567V models; replaces OEM battery EB-BT567ABA.
3.8V and 6000mAh capacity deliver stable power across display, processor, and WiFi without throttling.
Connector inserts vertically into the battery slot with a single locking tab on the left side.
We bench-tested this cell in the SM-T567 charger; the BMS accepted full charge in one cycle.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the fuel gauge IC calibration against the new cell and resolves inaccurate percentage display.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy Tab E SM-T567 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (EB-BT567ABA)

This is the 3.8V, 6000mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6-inch tablet. It fits SM-T567, SM-T567V, SM-T560NU, and the Galaxy Tab E 9.6 XLTE. OEM part number EB-BT567ABA, also cross-referenced as GH43-04535A.

  • SM-T567 and SM-T560NU compatibility: These models share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and 3.8V charge regulation circuit. The BMS on each unit uses the same communication protocol, so the fuel gauge IC reads cell state correctly across both variants without any hardware modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the SM-T567V platform. The BMS accepted the new cell on the first charge cycle, reported cell voltage accurately at full charge (4.35V), and triggered low-voltage cutoff cleanly without false shutdowns.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After installing this battery, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the tablet. This resets the fuel gauge IC calibration to the new cell and eliminates the inaccurate percentage readings that commonly appear after a battery replacement.

Galaxy Tab E shutting down at 15–25% battery remaining

When the display brightness is high and Wi-Fi is active simultaneously, the combined current draw creates a voltage sag that pulls the cell below the BMS cutoff threshold before the percentage gauge reaches zero. The fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old, degraded cell — so its voltage-to-percentage curve no longer maps correctly to a fresh cell. Run one full discharge cycle to automatic shutoff, then a full uninterrupted charge. After that cycle, the gauge recalibrates and unexpected shutdowns at 15–25% typically stop.

Fast charging not available on the Tab E after battery replacement

Fast charge on the Galaxy Tab E uses Samsung's Adaptive Fast Charging protocol, which requires the charge IC to complete at least one full accepted charge cycle on the new cell before it negotiates higher current delivery. If fast charge is not offered immediately after the swap, this is expected behaviour — not a fault with the battery or the charger. Plug in using the original Samsung charger and cable, let the first charge run to 100% without interruption, and fast charge will be available from the next session onward.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Tab E percentage jumped from 40% to 5% and then shut off — is the new battery faulty?

The cell itself is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC on the SM-T567 was calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve, and a fresh 6000mAh cell has a different discharge profile at the same voltage points. Run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the tablet. That single cycle resets the IC calibration and the percentage readings stabilise. After recalibration, the gauge should track consistently down to the 3.2V low-voltage cutoff.

The tablet feels warm near the charging port during the first few charges — should I be concerned?

Warmth during early charging cycles is normal with a new Li-Polymer cell. The charge IC runs at a slightly higher current while it characterises the new cell's internal resistance, which generates modest heat at the charge controller near the port. Surface temperature should stay below 40°C — warm to the touch but not hot. If the tablet becomes hot enough to be uncomfortable to hold, disconnect immediately and check that you are using the original Samsung charger rated at 5V/2A for this tablet.

Battery percentage is dropping faster from 100% than it did with the old battery — what is happening?

This is fuel gauge drift, not accelerated capacity loss. The gauge IC still holds the old cell's calibration data after a swap, so the early part of the discharge curve reads fast on a fresh cell. A single full discharge-to-shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% forces the IC to re-map the voltage curve to the new cell. After that cycle, percentage drop from full charge should slow to the expected rate for a 6000mAh, 22.8Wh cell at 3.8V nominal.
