Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Cecotec Conga 750 / 890 Slim Series — 10.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (CONG0001)
This 10.8V 2600mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Cecotec Conga 750, Conga 890 Slim, Conga 899 Slim, and Conga Slim series robot vacuums. It uses an INR18650M26 3S1P cell configuration — three 18650 cells in series — matching the voltage rail the motor controller expects. Capacity is 2600mAh (28.08Wh), direct from our sourcing spec.
- Conga 750 and Slim series fitment: These models share the same 10.8V motor bus, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The 3S1P cell arrangement keeps the pack within the chassis footprint while delivering the current the suction motor draws during a cleaning cycle.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on a Conga 890 Slim unit. The BMS correctly flagged overcurrent on a blocked-filter test and cut power cleanly — no thermal event, no false low-charge signal at full state of charge.
- Dock charging habit for these models: Do not leave the Conga on the charging dock continuously. These robot vacuums apply a trickle charge when docked and full — sustained trickle current degrades cell capacity faster than normal cycling. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next run.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on Conga Slim models
This happens when the suction motor draws more current than the BMS allows under load — usually caused by a partially blocked filter or brush roll, not a flat battery. The motor voltage sags under restriction, the BMS reads it as an overload condition, and it throttles output. Clean the filter and check the brush roll for hair wrap before assuming the battery is at fault. If suction recovers after cleaning, the pack is fine — the cell was never the problem.
Motor cuts out mid-cycle and restarts after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When sustained suction restriction forces the motor to draw above the pack's rated discharge current, the BMS opens the circuit to protect the cells. It resets automatically once current demand drops. The fix is to clear the filter and check the inlet for blockages — a clean airpath keeps motor draw below the trip threshold. If cutouts continue on an unobstructed vacuum, verify the replacement pack's discharge rating matches the OEM spec of 10.8V / 2600mAh.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Conga 750 runtime has dropped noticeably even with a new battery — could the dock be causing this?
Yes. Leaving the Conga on the dock continuously applies a low-level trickle charge to cells that are already full, and that sustained current degrades capacity faster than normal charge-discharge cycling. This is one of the most common causes of early capacity fade on dock-based robot vacuums. Charge the new battery to full, then pull the unit off the dock and only return it to charge when depleted. You should see capacity stabilise within a few cycles.
The Conga suction feels weak but the battery indicator still shows plenty of charge — what's happening?
A partially blocked filter is the most likely cause. When airflow is restricted, the motor works harder to maintain suction, drawing more current than the BMS is comfortable sustaining — so it caps output before the battery is anywhere near empty. Remove and clean the filter, then check the brush roll for debris. If suction returns to normal after clearing the blockage, the battery is not the issue.
The Conga powers on and starts a cycle, then cuts out completely for a few seconds before restarting — is that a battery fault?
That's a BMS overcurrent trip, not a cell failure. The protection circuit opens when motor current spikes above the pack's rated discharge limit — typically triggered by a blockage at the inlet or a clogged filter forcing the motor to work against restricted airflow. Check the inlet path and brush roll, then clear the filter. If the cutouts stop, the cell is fine. If they continue on a clean vacuum, confirm pack voltage reads between 10.8V and 12.6V fully charged before suspecting the replacement battery.
