Fits Sencor SRV 3150OR, SRV 3160TQ, SRV 4550WH cordless stick vacuums, replaces OEM part SRX 3101.
10.8V lithium-ion at 2600mAh delivers stable voltage to the motor under filter load and carpet drag.
Connector slides onto the dock contact pins with a locking tab that seats flush against the handle spine.
We bench-tested this cell on a SRV 3150OR at full suction — the BMS held steady through blockage cycles without early shutoff.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously after reaching full charge — trickle current degrades the pack capacity significantly within weeks, so charge and remove it immediately when full.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Sencor SRV 3150OR / SRV 3160TQ / SRV 4550WH — 10.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (SRX 3101)

This is a 10.8V, 2600mAh (28.08Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Sencor SRV 3150OR, SRV 3160TQ, and SRV 4550WH cordless stick vacuums. It slots into the same bay as the original pack and connects to the same BMS handshake the charger expects. Capacity figures come from the product data, not a web estimate.

  • SRV 3150OR, SRV 3160TQ, SRV 4550WH platform: All three models share the same 10.8V cell architecture, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — that is why one pack covers all three. Swapping between them does not require any firmware or charger change.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the pack through charge and discharge cycles on this platform. The BMS accepted the handshake without faulting, cell balance held within tolerance across cycles, and overcurrent protection tripped correctly under a simulated blockage load.
  • Dock charging habit on these vacuums: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. These models trickle-charge continuously when docked, which degrades cell capacity significantly faster than charging only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the SRV 3150OR

The SRV 3150OR motor draws harder when airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter forces it to work against back-pressure, pulling more current than the pack is rated to supply at steady state. The BMS responds by throttling output voltage to stay within safe discharge limits, and the motor slows before the indicator has a chance to catch up. The indicator reads cell voltage, not motor load, so the two diverge under restriction. Clean or replace the filter first; if suction recovers, the battery is not the cause.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then restarts after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the motor is held under sustained restricted suction — tight carpet pile, a partial blockage, or a clogged filter — current draw spikes past the BMS protection threshold and the pack disconnects the output circuit. A few seconds of no load allows the BMS to reset and reconnect. The fix is to clear the restriction: remove the blockage, clean the filter, and verify airflow is unobstructed. If the motor cuts out again on a clear path, check that pack voltage at rest is above 10.0V before concluding the cell is at fault.

Frequently Asked Questions

The suction on my SRV 3150OR feels weak even with a fresh charge — is the new battery faulty?

Probably not the battery. A restricted filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, and the BMS caps output to compensate — suction drops even though cell voltage is fine. Remove and clean the filter, then test again on a hard floor with no blockage. If suction returns to normal, the pack is working correctly.

My SRV 3160TQ keeps cutting out for a few seconds and then coming back on — what is happening?

That cut-and-recover pattern is the BMS tripping on an overcurrent spike, not a dying cell. It happens when the motor is held under load against a blockage or a clogged filter — current exceeds the protection threshold, the BMS disconnects, and it resets after a short rest. Clear the blockage, clean the filter, and run again. If it still trips on a clear path, check resting pack voltage; it should read above 10.0V.

I left the SRV 4550WH on the dock every night and now the battery barely holds a charge — did I damage it?

Yes — continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade on these vacuums. The charger trickle-charges indefinitely when the vacuum stays docked, and that sustained low-level current degrades the cells faster than normal cycle use. With a replacement pack, charge only when the battery is depleted, then remove it from the dock once the indicator shows full. That single change is enough to preserve cell capacity over time.
