Fits Ecovacs Deebot DW700, DW700-WR, DW701, and DS620 models; replaces OEM part H-SC3000P.
12V, 2500mAh Ni-MH chemistry delivers consistent voltage under motor load on carpet and hard floor cleaning cycles.
Connector slides into the battery slot with a locking tab; orientation is keyed to prevent misalignment during insertion.
We bench-tested this cell on a DW700 dock charger; the Ni-MH BMS accepted charge without fault codes and held voltage stable under sustained suction draw.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock permanently — continuous trickle charge degrades Ni-MH capacity faster; charge to full and remove when finished cleaning.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Ecovacs Deebot DW700 Series — 12V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (H-SC3000P)

This is a 12V, 2500mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Ecovacs Deebot DW700 robotic vacuum cleaner. It fits the DW700, DW700-WR, DW701, and DS620 among others. Voltage and capacity match the original spec from the product data — 12V, 2500mAh, 30Wh.

  • DW700 series compatibility: The DW700, DW700-WR, DW701, and DS620 share the same 12V Ni-MH pack format, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. Swapping between these models requires no modification — the same cell fits all.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on a DW700 unit. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, completed charge termination at the correct delta-V threshold, and the robot resumed normal navigation and cleaning sequences.
  • Dock charging discipline for Ni-MH cells: Ni-MH chemistry in robotic vacuums suffers faster capacity fade when left on the dock permanently. Once the DW700 completes a cleaning cycle and returns to charge, remove it from the dock after the charge light clears — do not use the dock as a storage stand between sessions.

Deebot DW700 losing suction before the battery indicator shows low

The DW700's motor draws peak current when fighting a partially blocked filter or restricted airflow path. A Ni-MH pack with even moderate capacity fade cannot sustain that current without voltage sag. The robot's BMS interprets the sag as low battery and reduces motor speed — suction drops even though the indicator still shows charge remaining. Clean or replace the filter first, then test again; if suction holds through a full cycle, the filter was the cause, not the battery.

DW700 motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a battery failure. When the suction path is restricted — blocked brush roll, clogged filter, or debris jam — the motor draws sustained current above the BMS threshold. The BMS cuts power to protect the cell, the robot pauses, and it restarts once the BMS resets. Clear the blockage and check that the filter is seated correctly. If the cutout continues on a clear path, measure pack voltage under load — it should hold above 10.8V during motor run.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Deebot DW700 used to clean the whole floor but now it stops and docks itself halfway through — is that the battery?

Most likely yes, but check the filter first. A clogged filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which accelerates voltage drop in a degraded Ni-MH pack and triggers an early low-battery dock return. Clean the filter, run a cycle, and if it still cuts short, the pack has lost capacity and needs replacement. A healthy pack should sustain 12V ± 0.5V throughout a normal cleaning run.

The DW700 charged overnight but the robot only ran for a short time before docking — why isn't the new battery performing better than the old one?

A new Ni-MH cell may need two to three full charge and discharge cycles before it reaches rated capacity. On the first cycle, some cells deliver only 70–80% of their rated 2500mAh. Run the robot until it docks on low battery, charge fully, and repeat — capacity typically stabilises by the third cycle. If performance does not improve after three cycles, verify the charger is delivering the correct termination voltage rather than cutting off early.

My Deebot DW700 won't take a charge after sitting unused for several months — is the battery dead?

Ni-MH cells that have self-discharged below roughly 0.9V per cell can appear dead to the charger. The DW700's BMS may refuse to initiate a charge cycle if pack voltage has dropped too far. Connect the charger and leave it for 30–60 minutes regardless — some chargers apply a low-rate recovery trickle before switching to normal charge. If the charge indicator never activates after an hour, pack voltage has likely dropped below the BMS recovery threshold and the cell needs replacement.
