Fits Philips PowerPro Aqua FC6400 and replaces OEM battery pack 4ICR19/65.
14.8V lithium-ion at 2200mAh delivers stable voltage across wet and dry cleaning cycles without mid-job sag.
Connects via flat blade terminals with positive contact pins — aligns straight into the battery slot until the locking tab seats.
Bench test showed BMS accepted load draw under sustained suction without early cutoff; voltage held steady through filter blockage simulation.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock permanently — continuous dock charge causes capacity fade in Philips Li-ion packs; charge to full and remove.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Philips PowerPro Aqua FC6400 Series — 14.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (4ICR19/65)

This is a 14.8V, 2200mAh Li-ion battery pack for the Philips PowerPro Aqua FC6400 cordless wet and dry vacuum. It replaces OEM part number 4ICR19/65 and fits the FC6400, FC6400/01, FC6401/01, and related variants. Voltage, connector, and BMS handshake all match the original specification.

  • FC6400 series compatibility: The FC6400, FC6400/01, and FC6401/01 all share the same 14.8V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. One battery pack covers the full range without adapter or modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the FC6400 platform. The BMS negotiated correctly with the charger, and the protection circuit responded to both over-discharge and thermal events without false trips.
  • Dock charging habit on the FC6400: Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously. The FC6400 dock does not terminate charge and switch to a true standby mode — trickle current continues and accelerates cell degradation. Charge fully, then remove it from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor is working harder than rated — usually a partially blocked filter forcing it to draw extra current. The battery voltage sags under that elevated load before the indicator registers a low charge state. The BMS reads the voltage drop as a near-empty pack and throttles output to protect the cells. Clean or replace the filter first; if suction restores immediately, the battery was not the cause.

Motor cuts out mid-run then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a flat battery. Sustained restricted airflow — blocked filter, full dust bin, or a carpet blockage — drives motor current above the protection threshold. The BMS disconnects the output, the motor stops, and it resets once current demand drops. Clear the restriction, then check that resting voltage is above 14.0V before continuing use.

Frequently Asked Questions

My FC6400 loses suction halfway through a clean but the battery light isn't showing low — what's happening?

A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which causes battery voltage to sag well before the indicator registers empty. The vacuum responds to that voltage drop by reducing motor power, and suction drops noticeably. Clean or replace the filter and retest — if suction holds across a full charge cycle, the filter was the cause, not the battery. If sag persists with a clean filter, check resting cell voltage; it should read at or above 14.8V off a full charge.

The motor on my PowerPro Aqua cuts out for a few seconds and then starts again on its own — is the battery failing?

That intermittent cutout is almost always a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dying cell. When airflow is restricted — blocked nozzle, full bin, or clogged filter — motor current spikes past the protection threshold and the BMS disconnects the output. Clear the blockage and empty the bin, then run again. If the cutout stops, the battery is fine; if it persists on a clean machine, measure pack voltage under load — it should stay above 13.5V during normal operation.

I leave my FC6400 on the dock between every use and the battery seems to have gotten much weaker — is that normal?

Yes, and the dock is the cause. The FC6400 charging dock does not switch to a true float or standby mode when the pack is full — it continues pushing trickle current into the cells indefinitely. That continuous low-level charge degrades lithium-ion cells significantly faster than normal cycling. Going forward, charge the new battery to full, remove it from the dock, and only return it when it needs charging again.
