Fits Electrolux 900273758 cordless vacuum; replaces OEM part 140127175457.
10.8V lithium-ion, 2500mAh capacity delivers full motor torque on Electrolux stick vacuums.
Connector slides straight onto the dock contact pins with a positive lock tab.
We bench-tested this cell on the ZB3101 platform; BMS settled within two charge cycles.
Do not leave the vacuum on the charging dock continuously — trickle charge degrades capacity faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Electrolux 900273758 / ZB3101 Series — 10.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (140127175457)

This is a 10.8V, 2500mAh Li-ion replacement battery for Electrolux cordless stick vacuums including the 900273758, ZB3101, 900273759, and ZB3102 series. It uses OEM part number 140127175457 and matches the original cell count, voltage rail, and BMS communication expected by the vacuum's motor controller. Swap it in when the original pack no longer holds enough charge to complete a clean cycle.

  • ZB3101 / ZB3102 platform fit: These models share the same 10.8V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One replacement covers the full family without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through load cycles on a ZB3101 chassis. The BMS held steady through sustained motor draw, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage threshold without nuisance cutoffs during normal use.
  • Dock charging habit on this vacuum: Remove the vacuum from the charging dock once the pack reaches full charge. The ZB3101-series charger does not drop to a true maintenance rate — leaving it docked continuously accelerates capacity fade in the replacement cells, just as it did in the original.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator shows low

A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, causing the battery's internal resistance to produce a voltage sag under load. The vacuum loses suction noticeably but the indicator still reads mid-charge because it measures resting voltage, not loaded voltage. The BMS reads the loaded voltage drop as a near-depletion event and begins throttling motor power early. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers, the battery was compensating for a restriction, not failing.

Motor cuts out mid-session then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. On this vacuum, sustained restricted airflow — caused by a full dust bin or clogged cyclone — makes the motor work harder and pull current above the pack's continuous discharge rating. The BMS shuts the circuit and resets after the cells cool slightly, which is why the vacuum restarts after 30–60 seconds. Empty the bin, check the cyclone mesh, and confirm the filter is clear before suspecting the battery itself.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Electrolux ZB3101 has noticeably less suction than it used to, but the battery indicator still shows charge — why?

A worn or dirty filter is the most likely cause. When airflow is restricted, the motor draws excess current, which causes voltage sag under load — the vacuum loses power even though the resting cell voltage still reads as adequate on the indicator. Clean or replace the filter and empty the bin, then retest. If suction returns to normal, the battery was not the issue.

The vacuum cuts out after a minute or two on carpet and then restarts on its own — is this a faulty battery?

This is usually a BMS overcurrent trip triggered by high motor load, not a cell failure. Deep or thick carpet restricts airflow the same way a blockage does, pushing current draw above the pack's continuous rating. The BMS shuts the circuit to protect the cells, then resets once temperature drops. Check the filter and cyclone mesh first — if the cutout stops after cleaning, the replacement battery is functioning correctly.

My replacement battery charged fully but now it seems to drain faster after a few weeks — what changed?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade on this vacuum series. The ZB3101-series charger does not step down to a true maintenance rate when the pack is full, so cells left on the dock experience ongoing trickle stress. Charge the battery to full, then remove it from the dock. Store the vacuum off-charge and reconnect only when the pack is depleted — this alone significantly slows capacity loss.
