Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Eureka H11 Handheld Cordless Vacuum — 29.6V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BP28825A)
This is a 29.6V, 2500mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Eureka H11 handheld cordless vacuum cleaner. It fits directly into the H11 and restores full motor power after the original cell has degraded. Part number BP28825A confirms fitment with the H11 platform.
- H11 platform fitment: The H11 series runs a 29.6V motor rail that pulls variable current depending on surface load — carpet draws significantly more than hard floor. This cell matches that voltage rail and carries the BMS communication the H11 charger expects before it will begin a charge cycle.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through the H11's full charge handshake and confirmed the BMS reported cell status correctly to the charger. Under simulated motor load we saw no unexpected cutoffs at the rated draw for hard floor or carpet modes.
- Dock charging habit on the H11: Do not leave the H11 sitting on the charging dock permanently between uses. Continuous dock contact exposes the cells to low-level trickle current that accelerates capacity fade. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock until the next use.
Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low
This happens when the motor is drawing more current than the BMS expects — usually because a partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder to maintain airflow. The BMS reads the elevated draw as a potential overcurrent condition and reduces power to the motor before the fuel gauge registers low. The vacuum feels like it is losing suction while the indicator still shows charge remaining. Clean or replace the filter first, then test suction — a clear filter drops motor current back to normal draw and the cutback behaviour stops.
Motor cuts out mid-clean and then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failed battery. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, clogged filter, or hair wrapped at the inlet — the motor stalls slightly and current spikes above the BMS threshold. The BMS shuts the output rail, the motor stops, and after a short thermal or timer reset the BMS re-enables and the motor restarts. Clear the blockage completely before the next run. If the trip happens again on a clean filter and clear nozzle, check that the replacement cell voltage reads at least 29.6V at full charge before use.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Eureka H11 suction drops off well before the battery light shows it's low — is the battery draining unevenly?
The battery is likely fine — a partially blocked filter is the more common cause. A restricted filter forces the motor to draw more current than its rated load, and the BMS reduces power to the motor before the fuel gauge catches up. Clean or replace the filter and run the vacuum again. If suction holds steady after that, the battery is not the issue.
I just installed the replacement battery but the H11 charger won't start a charge cycle — no light, nothing.
The H11 charger requires a BMS handshake from the battery before it will open the charge circuit. If the replacement cell has been stored at a low state of charge, the BMS may not be responding at a high enough voltage to trigger the charger. Leave the battery connected to the charger undisturbed for 10–15 minutes — some chargers will slowly wake a deeply discharged cell once they detect a minimum voltage. If the charger still shows no activity, confirm the battery resting voltage with a multimeter; it should read above 25V for the charger to recognise it.
The Eureka H11 battery faded fast — I only had it a few months and it barely holds charge now.
Fast capacity fade on the H11 almost always traces back to leaving the vacuum on the charging dock continuously between uses. Low-level trickle current from constant dock contact degrades Li-ion cells faster than normal charge cycles do. Going forward, charge the battery to full and remove the vacuum from the dock until the next cleaning session. Cells that have already faded from this pattern will not recover, but stopping the behaviour now will preserve the remaining capacity in the replacement cell.
