This is a 14.4V, 2000mAh (28.8Wh) lithium-ion battery for the Gorenje SVC144FW, SVC144FBK, VC2930, and VC2932-GS cordless stick vacuums. It replaces OEM part numbers 577276, 574791, and 728267. If suction has weakened or the original cell no longer holds a charge, this swap restores full motor voltage to the vacuum.

• SVC144FW and VC2930 series compatibility: All four models in this fit list share the same 14.4V battery rail, connector footprint, and BMS handshake protocol. The pack slots directly into any of them without modification to the battery bay or charge circuit.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the SVC144FW platform. The BMS held the correct cutoff voltage under simulated motor load and the charge circuit accepted the pack without error flags.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The motor in the SVC144FW draws significantly more current when airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter or clogged brush roll forces the motor to work harder, pulling the cell voltage down faster than normal. The battery indicator reads remaining charge, not motor load, so the display can still show mid-range while suction has already fallen off. The BMS sees the voltage sag and begins throttling output to protect the cell. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers and holds, the battery is not the cause.

Motor cuts out during use and then comes back after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is sustained against a blockage or heavy carpet pile, current draw spikes above the BMS threshold and the pack disconnects the output rail to protect the cells. After 20–30 seconds the BMS resets and allows the motor to restart. Check the filter and brush roll for blockages before replacing the battery — if the cutout stops once airflow is clear, the pack is functioning as intended. If trips continue on a clean machine, measure pack voltage at rest; below 12V under no load points to cell degradation.
