Fits Greenhome oley cordless vacuum; replaces OEM battery SKU CS-GRY100VX.
31V, 2600mAh lithium-ion cell powers the motorized head and suction motor.
Connector seats directly into the vacuum's battery slot with indexed alignment.
We charged the pack on oley's dock station; BMS accepted the handshake cleanly.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously — trickle charge degrades capacity fast, so charge to full and remove immediately.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Greenhome Oley Cordless Vacuum — 31V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 31V 2600mAh Li-ion battery pack fits the Greenhome Oley cordless stick vacuum. It powers both the motorized cleaning head and the suction system. Capacity is sourced from product data at 80.6Wh.

  • Oley platform fit: The Oley series runs a 31V cell architecture that drives both the suction motor and the motorized brush head from a single pack. Voltage and connector position must match exactly — swapping in a different voltage pack will either fail to start or trip the vacuum's protection circuit immediately.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through the Oley's motor-start sequence and sustained suction load. The BMS held voltage steady through the brush head engagement spike and did not trip under normal carpet resistance.
  • Dock charging discipline: Do not leave the Oley sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charging degrades Li-ion cell capacity faster than standard charge cycles. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor draws more current than the pack can sustain at a given state of charge. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling current above the BMS's sustained threshold. The BMS then reduces power delivery to protect the cells — which reads as suction loss, not a battery fault. Clear the filter first, then check whether the symptom persists with a clean airpath.

Motor cuts out mid-clean and then recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failing cell. When suction is restricted — clogged filter, blocked nozzle, or a tight carpet pile — the motor spikes current draw beyond the pack's overcurrent limit. The BMS disconnects the output, the vacuum stops, and after the trip timer resets the pack reconnects. Fix the restriction causing the high draw. If it keeps tripping on a clean filter, check that the replacement pack voltage matches 31V exactly before assuming a cell fault.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Oley has noticeably less suction than it used to, but the battery indicator still shows full — what's going on?

A degraded battery can no longer sustain the motor's full current draw even when the cell voltage reads as charged. The motor runs below its rated power, which cuts suction before the indicator drops. This is cell capacity fade, not a filter problem — if the filter is clean and the issue persists, the battery needs replacing. Fit the new pack and check that suction returns to full strength within the first two minutes of use.

My Greenhome Oley won't charge on the new replacement battery — the charger light just blinks or does nothing.

Some Oley chargers expect a specific BMS handshake before initiating a charge cycle. If the replacement pack shipped in a low-voltage storage state, the charger may refuse to start. Connect the charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes without unplugging — some BMS circuits need that window to pull enough voltage for the handshake to complete. If the charger still does not respond after that, confirm the charger output matches the 31V pack spec before swapping parts.

The battery I've had for about a year is draining noticeably faster than when it was new — is this normal and can I slow it down?

Li-ion cells lose capacity with repeated charge cycles, but leaving the Oley on the dock continuously accelerates that fade. Continuous dock charging keeps the cells at 100% with a trickle current running through them — that sustained high state of charge degrades the chemistry faster than regular charge-and-remove cycles. Charge the pack to full, remove it from the dock, and only return it when the vacuum needs charging again. That single habit change extends usable capacity significantly over the pack's cycle life.
