• G4, X8, WD40, and T9 compatibility: These models share the same 22.2V battery platform, connector layout, and BMS communication protocol — the same replacement cell works across all four without any modification.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through charge and discharge cycles on the G4 platform. The BMS handled motor-start current draw without tripping and balanced cells correctly across the pack after full cycles.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before battery indicator reaches low

On the G4 and X8, the suction motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked — the motor works harder to pull airflow, voltage sags under the extra load, and the BMS may throttle output before the indicator registers low battery. The indicator tracks state-of-charge, not voltage sag under load, so they fall out of sync. Clean or replace the filter first and check whether suction holds steady. If suction still drops with a clean filter, measure pack voltage under load — it should hold above 19V during normal operation.

Motor cuts out during use then restarts on its own

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a faulty battery. When sustained suction restriction forces the motor to draw above the pack's rated continuous current, the BMS disconnects the output to protect the cells — then resets once current drops. It feels like an intermittent fault but it follows a pattern: it happens under load, not at rest. Clear any blockage in the nozzle, hose, or filter before assuming the battery is at fault. If it trips on an unobstructed, clean vacuum, check that pack voltage is at or above 21V on a full charge.
