Fits Media RM2102, W11 Pro, W11 Plus, W11 cordless vacuums; replaces OEM part BP14452G.
14.4V, 5200mAh chemistry delivers sustained motor power through full cleaning cycles without voltage sag.
Connector seats firmly into the battery slot with locking tab engagement — verify tab alignment before insertion.
Bench testing showed clean BMS handshake on first charge cycle; motor draw remained stable through sustained suction loads.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously — cordless vacuum chargers apply trickle charge that degrades capacity; charge to full and remove immediately.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Media RM2102 / W11 Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BP14452G)

This is the BP14452G 14.4V lithium-ion replacement battery for the Media RM2102, W11 Pro, W11 Plus, and W11 cordless vacuums. Capacity is 5200mAh (74.88Wh), matching the original cell specification. It fits the battery bay directly and works with the stock charger and BMS handshake these vacuums expect.

  • RM2102 and W11 platform fit: The RM2102, W11, W11 Plus, and W11 Pro share the same 14.4V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. One cell covers all four models because the motor driver and charge circuit are identical across this vacuum line.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through charge and discharge cycles on the W11 platform. The BMS handshook correctly with the stock charger, cell balancing activated as expected, and the overcurrent cutoff triggered at the correct threshold under a simulated blocked-filter load.
  • Dock charging habit on the W11 line: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. These models trickle-charge continuously when docked and full — that sustained low-current charge accelerates capacity fade. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low

On the W11 line, suction can drop noticeably while the battery indicator still shows two or three bars. This happens because a partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated. Voltage sags under that extra load, and the motor slows even though cell voltage hasn't hit the BMS low-cutoff threshold. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers, the battery is fine and the problem was restriction, not capacity.

Motor cuts out mid-clean and then recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. The W11 motor draws a surge of current when suction is restricted — typically a clogged filter or blockage at the inlet — and the BMS cuts power to protect the cells. It resets automatically after a few seconds, which is why the vacuum comes back on. Clear the blockage, check the filter, then resume use. If trips continue on a clean filter, measure resting cell voltage — it should read above 15.5V on a full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Media W11 battery fades fast after a few months — it never lasts as long as it did when new. What causes that?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause on the W11 line. When the battery sits fully charged on the dock, the charger feeds a low trickle current indefinitely — that sustained charge degrades cell capacity faster than normal use cycles. Remove the battery or the vacuum from the dock once charging is complete. Capacity fade from this cause is gradual but compounds quickly past the three-month mark.

The suction on my Media RM2102 drops off halfway through a clean even though the battery indicator still shows plenty of charge — is the battery failing?

Not necessarily. A partially blocked filter makes the motor pull more current than rated, which sags the cell voltage and slows the motor before the indicator registers low. Check and clean the filter first. If suction returns to full strength after clearing the filter, the battery capacity is intact and the restriction was the cause — not the cell.

My replacement BP14452G battery isn't charging on the original Media dock — the charger light doesn't come on. What should I check?

The W11 charger expects a specific BMS handshake before it starts the charge cycle. If the replacement cell's BMS is in a deep-discharge protection state, the charger may not initiate. Remove the battery, wait two minutes, then reinsert it firmly — this can reset the BMS and allow the handshake to complete. If the charger still won't start, check that the battery contacts are clean and fully seated; a resting voltage below 10V on a fully depleted cell may require a compatible charger capable of recovery-mode charging to bring it back above the initiation threshold.
