Fits Vileda VR One, VR 102, VR 201 PetPro, and VR 303 models; replaces OEM part 0769-03.
10.8V lithium-ion pack with 2600mAh capacity sustains full motor torque during cleaning cycles.
Connector slides into the battery dock on the vacuum base with a positive locking tab.
We tested the BMS on charge cycles with the Vileda dock charger; voltage regulation held steady.
Remove the battery from the dock immediately after charging completes — continuous dock charging causes measurable capacity fade.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vileda VR One Series — 10.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (0769-03)

This is a 10.8V, 2600mAh lithium-ion replacement battery for the Vileda VR One robot vacuum. It fits the VR One, VR 102, VR 201 PetPro, and VR 303 models. Swap it in when the original cell can no longer hold enough charge to complete a full cleaning cycle.

  • VR One, VR 102, VR 201 PetPro, VR 303 compatibility: These four models share the same 10.8V power architecture, battery connector, and BMS communication protocol — one cell fits all four without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the VR One platform. The BMS handshake completed without fault codes, and the motor controller accepted the cell's state-of-charge signal correctly throughout the test.
  • Dock charging discipline on the VR series: These robots sit on their dock between every run — that's continuous trickle charge on a lithium cell. Remove the robot from the dock once the charge indicator shows full. Leaving it docked permanently is the single fastest way to degrade cell capacity on this platform.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the VR One

The VR One's motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked or the brush roller is restricted. That extra draw causes the battery voltage to sag under load, even when the cell still reads 70–80% charged at idle. The onboard controller interprets the voltage sag as available power, so the low-battery indicator stays off while suction performance falls away. Clean the filter and check the brush roller for hair wrap before assuming the battery is at fault.

Motor cuts out mid-run and recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a battery failure. When the vacuum hits a rug edge or a blocked section, the motor briefly draws above the BMS threshold — the protection circuit opens, power cuts, then resets once current drops. A worn original battery trips this threshold sooner because its internal resistance pushes the instantaneous voltage drop further. If the new cell still trips during heavy carpet passes, check that the filter is clean and the inlet is clear before increasing load on the motor.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Vileda VR One stops mid-clean, pauses for a few seconds, then starts again — is that the battery?

That's a BMS overcurrent trip. The protection circuit cuts power when the motor pulls above the safe current limit — usually on thick carpet or when the brush roller is partially jammed. A degraded battery hits that trip point sooner because higher internal resistance causes a sharper voltage drop under load. Clear the brush roller and filter first, then test again; if the new cell still trips frequently, the motor itself may have a restriction.

The VR One's suction feels weak even right after charging — why isn't a new battery fixing it?

Suction loss early in a run usually points to a blocked filter, not the cell. A clogged filter forces the motor to work harder, drawing more current than rated and causing the battery voltage to sag under load — the robot underperforms even on a full charge. Remove and tap out the filter, then check the brush inlet for debris before the next run. If suction restores after cleaning the filter, the battery was never the cause.

Will leaving the Vileda VR One on the dock permanently shorten this replacement battery faster than the original?

Yes. Lithium-ion cells degrade faster when held at full charge continuously — the dock keeps topping the cell up, and sustained high state-of-charge accelerates capacity fade. The original battery degraded for the same reason if the robot sat docked between every run. Charge the VR One to full, then lift it off the dock and store it away from the charger until the next session.
