Fits Eartec HUB and UltraLITE wireless headsets; replaces OEM part LX600LI.
3.7V, 810mAh lithium-ion cell delivers stable voltage for DECT radio and audio draw combined.
Connector seats into HUB battery slot with positive terminal facing outward; no locking tab present.
We bench-tested the LX600LI against a depleted OEM pack; BMS handshake completed on first base-station insertion without fault codes.
Charge the headset in the base station for one full cycle before taking calls — DECT systems require the base to log the new cell before talk-time estimates stabilize.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Eartec HUB / UltraLITE Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LX600LI)

This is a 3.7V, 810mAh Li-ion replacement for the Eartec LX600LI cell. It fits the HUB and UltraLITE wireless intercom headsets used in live events, broadcast, and sports production. When the original cell degrades, this restores the headset to full operating condition.

  • HUB and UltraLITE compatibility: Both platforms share the same 3.7V single-cell architecture, the LX600LI connector footprint, and the same BMS handshake sequence with the base station. One cell fits both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the HUB base station charge circuit and monitored BMS communication. The protection board responded correctly to charge termination and discharged within spec under combined DECT radio and audio load.
  • First-cycle base station protocol: Seat the headset in the base and let it complete a full uninterrupted charge before the first call. The HUB base needs to log the new cell's BMS data before the charge indicator reflects actual capacity accurately.

Why the HUB headset cuts out mid-transmission on a fresh battery

The HUB draws current simultaneously from the audio circuit and the DECT radio module. On a new or recently stored cell, that combined load can pull the terminal voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold momentarily, triggering a protection disconnect. This is not a faulty battery — it is the cell operating at storage voltage rather than a conditioned charge state. Running three to five full charge and discharge cycles through the base station brings the cell to its rated 810mAh delivery and stabilises voltage under that combined draw.

Base station shows full charge but headset shuts off after brief use

This happens when the cell arrives at storage voltage — typically around 3.6–3.7V — and the base station interprets that as a near-full charge, ending the cycle early. The cell has not been charged to its actual capacity ceiling. Place the headset back in the base, allow a complete charge cycle without interruption, and confirm the charge LED completes its full sequence. After one proper full cycle, the base station charge estimate and the headset's actual run state will align.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Eartec HUB base station shows a charging error on the new battery — what's causing it?

The base station checks for a valid BMS handshake before it begins charging. A new cell that has not yet completed a full cycle can present a voltage or impedance reading outside the base's expected range, triggering the error. Remove the headset, reseat it firmly so the contacts are fully engaged, and leave it in the base undisturbed for a complete charge cycle. If the error clears after that cycle, the BMS has initialised correctly and the headset will charge normally from that point.

The headset gets noticeably warm during extended live-event use — is that a battery issue?

Some warmth is normal. The HUB housing is compact, and the combined current draw from the DECT radio and audio amplifier generates heat in a small space. What to watch for is heat that builds continuously rather than levelling off, which can indicate the cell is working harder than it should due to a poor contact or a partially completed charge. Clean the headset charge contacts with a dry cloth, ensure the cell is seated fully, and confirm the previous charge cycle completed before your next event.

Talk time drops noticeably on the first few charges — does this battery have a fault?

No — this is normal Li-ion behaviour on a new cell. The 810mAh rated capacity is reached after three to five full charge and discharge cycles, not on the first use. Each cycle allows the electrolyte to fully saturate the electrode material, increasing usable capacity incrementally. Run the headset through the base station charge cycle completely, use it until the headset shuts off naturally, and repeat — by cycle five, talk time should reflect the rated capacity.
