Fits 4G System XSBox GO mobile hotspot unit; replaces OEM battery part number LB1500-03.
3.7V, 1500mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 5.55Wh to power extended hotspot sessions without full device replacement.
Connector seats into the XSBox GO battery slot with positive and negative contact alignment; no locking tab.
Bench testing showed clean BMS voltage curve under combined WiFi and cellular draw; no cutoff anomalies observed.
On first activation, place the hotspot in open air away from enclosed spaces — the cellular modem draws maximum power at startup and generates heat that the 1500mAh capacity will sustain longer with active cooling.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

4G System XSBox GO — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LB1500-03)

This 3.7V, 1500mAh Li-ion battery replaces the OEM unit in the 4G System XSBox GO mobile hotspot. It fits the XSBox GO directly using part number LB1500-03. Capacity is 1500mAh (5.55Wh) — identical to the factory specification.

  • XSBox GO platform fit: The XSBox GO uses a single-cell 3.7V Li-ion architecture with a fixed connector and BMS handshake tied to the LB1500-03 cell profile. Swapping to this replacement keeps the BMS negotiation intact — the hotspot firmware reads cell state correctly without throwing low-battery warnings on a full charge.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery under combined modem and Wi-Fi load — four connected clients, cellular signal at two bars. The BMS held the discharge curve steady without triggering premature cutoff, and charge acceptance matched the OEM profile across three full cycles.
  • Ventilation during extended sessions: Keep the XSBox GO on a flat, open surface when running multiple connected devices for extended periods. The cellular radio pushes maximum output power in low-signal areas, which heats the chassis and accelerates cell degradation if airflow is blocked by a pocket or bag.

Why the XSBox GO drops connections mid-session under full client load

When the XSBox GO is serving the maximum number of Wi-Fi clients while the modem hunts for signal, combined current draw spikes sharply. An aged or partially degraded cell cannot hold voltage steady through those peaks, so the BMS triggers a protective cutoff before the battery is actually empty. This causes the unit to drop all connected users simultaneously and restart. A fresh cell at full 1500mAh capacity sustains the voltage rail through those combined load spikes without hitting the BMS threshold.

XSBox GO won't power on after sitting unused for several weeks

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage — at around 3.0V the BMS locks the cell out of normal charge cycles to prevent damage. If the XSBox GO sat unpowered for an extended period, the battery may have dropped below the minimum boot voltage. Connect the device to its charger and leave it for at least 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on — the charger's trickle stage needs time to bring the cell back above the 3.0V BMS unlock threshold before the device will respond to the power button.

Frequently Asked Questions

My XSBox GO keeps dropping all connected devices at the same time — why does this happen with a new battery?

If the original battery is still installed, voltage sag under combined modem and Wi-Fi load is the likely cause — the aged cell can't hold the voltage rail steady when all client slots are active and the modem is working hard. A fresh LB1500-03 cell sustains that peak draw without hitting the BMS cutoff threshold. Fit the replacement, charge to full, and retest with the same number of connected devices.

The XSBox GO battery drains noticeably faster in areas with weak mobile signal — is something wrong with the replacement?

Nothing is wrong — this is normal cellular radio behaviour. In poor signal conditions, the modem increases transmit power to maintain the network connection, which is the single largest current draw in the device. More connected clients add Wi-Fi radio load on top of that. The 1500mAh cell is working within spec; move the hotspot closer to a window or position it with line of sight to reduce the signal hunt and lower the radio draw.

The XSBox GO won't turn on at all after sitting in a drawer for a couple of months — is the replacement battery dead on arrival?

Almost certainly not. Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below approximately 3.0V, the BMS locks it out of normal charging to protect the cell. Plug the XSBox GO into its charger and leave it connected for at least 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button — the trickle charge stage needs time to bring the cell voltage back above the BMS unlock threshold. Once the indicator light changes, attempt a normal power-on.
