Fits Advent 7019, 7035, 7048 notebooks; replaces OEM part 442673400015 and equivalent Advent battery part numbers.
14.8V and 4400mAh capacity delivers 65.12Wh — restores full charge cycles on this ultraportable without voltage sag under load.
Connector seats flush into the battery bay with a single locking tab; no adapter needed for direct swap into the original slot.
We bench-tested this cell against a discharged OEM pack; the BMS accepted charge without fault codes and held 14.8V under sustained 5A draw.
After installation, run one full discharge to sleep mode then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Advent 7019 / 7035 / 7048 — 14.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (442673400015)

This is a 14.8V, 4400mAh (65.12Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Advent 7019, 7035, and 7048 notebook series. It slots into the same battery bay as the original and connects via the same multi-pin connector. When the factory cell degrades below usable capacity, this replacement restores full unplugged operation.

  • 7019, 7035, and 7048 compatibility: These three models share the same 14.8V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why a single cell fits all three. The BMS reads cell voltage across the same four sense lines on every unit in this range.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the 7019 platform. The BMS accepted the new cell without fault codes, balanced across all four cell groups, and reached full charge termination cleanly at 16.8V.
  • Post-swap calibration on the Advent 7019 series: After fitting this battery, run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap on this platform.

BIOS reporting poor battery health after fitting a new cell

The Advent 7019 BIOS reads battery health from EEPROM data stored in the original cell's fuel gauge IC. When a new cell goes in, the BIOS compares live cell data against stale EEPROM values it cached from the old pack — and flags a health warning. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Running one full discharge-to-cutoff followed by an uninterrupted full charge forces the BIOS to rewrite its battery learn data against the new cell's actual chemistry. After that cycle, the health warning clears.

Laptop shuts off at 20–30% charge shown on screen

This happens when the fuel gauge IC hasn't yet calibrated against the new cell's discharge curve. The OS gauge is still plotting remaining charge against the old cell's voltage profile, so it reads 25% while the actual cell voltage has already hit the BMS low-voltage cutoff. The fix is the same calibration cycle — discharge fully to hibernate, then charge to 100% without interruption. After two to three full cycles, the gauge IC maps the new cell correctly and the early shutdown stops. Target cell voltage at full charge is 16.8V across the pack.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Advent 7019 BIOS shows the battery as "unknown" or 0% straight after fitting — is the new cell faulty?

Not a cell fault. The BIOS fuel gauge IC is still holding EEPROM data from the old pack and hasn't yet mapped the new cell's chemistry. Run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this forces the BIOS battery learn cycle to rewrite against the new cell. The unknown or 0% reading clears after that first full cycle.

System info shows the wrong Wh rating for this battery — the laptop reports 48Wh but the cell is rated 65.12Wh. Why?

The Wh figure shown in system info is read from the EEPROM on the battery's fuel gauge IC, which stores the rated capacity of whatever cell was originally installed. If the previous pack was a lower-capacity 48Wh unit, that value stays in the EEPROM until the BIOS relearns it. After one or two full discharge-charge cycles, the fuel gauge IC updates its Wh reading to match the actual 65.12Wh capacity of this cell.

The Advent 7019 stopped charging above 80% after the battery swap — what's blocking it?

Check the BIOS power settings first. Many Advent and rebranded Mitac-platform notebooks have a BIOS-controlled charge limit — often set to 80% to reduce cell wear — that stays active even after a battery swap. Enter the BIOS, locate the battery or power management section, and set the charge ceiling to 100%. If no such setting exists, reset the BIOS to defaults and run the battery learn cycle before assuming a cell fault.
