Fits Advent 7093 and QT5500 notebooks, replaces original battery pack CS-AUF3NB.
11.1V 4400mAh chemistry sustains full CPU and display load without voltage sag during portable sessions.
Connector orientation matches OEM slot; no adapter or modification needed for physical installation.
Bench testing shows BMS accepts charge cycle within two hours; voltage curve stable under sustained draw.
After installation, run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings that appear after cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Advent 7093 / QT5500 — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is an 11.1V 4400mAh (48.84Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Advent 7093 and QT5500 notebooks. It slots into the original bay and connects via the factory battery connector. When the original cell can no longer hold charge through a full work session, this cell restores portable operation.

  • 7093 and QT5500 compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and 11.1V three-cell series configuration. The BMS communication protocol is identical across the two, so a single cell revision covers both platforms without adapter or modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and full discharge on a 7093 unit. The BMS completed charge handshake without fault codes, held stable voltage through mid-cycle load steps, and triggered low-battery hibernate at the correct threshold.
  • First-install discharge cycle: After fitting this cell, run the laptop on battery from 100% down to automatic hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted back to 100%. This one full cycle resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.

BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after fitting a new cell

The BIOS on these Advent notebooks reads health data from EEPROM registers carried over from the old cell's charge history. When a new cell is fitted, those registers still reflect the degraded state of the previous pack. The laptop has no automatic way to know it is now reading a fresh cell. Running one complete discharge-to-hibernate followed by a full uninterrupted charge gives the BIOS enough cycle data to update its health register and clear the warning.

Laptop shuts down at 20–30% charge shown on the fuel gauge

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a faulty cell. Under combined CPU and display load, cell voltage drops faster than the fuel gauge IC can track, and the pack hits the BMS low-voltage cutoff while the OS still shows 20–30% remaining. The fuel gauge IC needs two or three full calibration cycles against the new cell before its discharge curve model becomes accurate. Run three full discharges to hibernate cutoff and full recharges — the shutdown point will move down to match actual cell capacity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Windows is showing my Advent 7093 battery as 0% and "not charging" straight after fitting the new cell — what's happening?

The fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell — it has no data for the new chemistry yet. Plug in the charger and leave it connected for a full uninterrupted charge to 100%; the IC will begin building a fresh curve. After two or three full discharge-and-recharge cycles the percentage reading will stabilise and the "not charging" flag will clear.

My Advent 7093 shows the replacement battery's Wh rating as lower than 48.84Wh in the system info — is the cell underspec?

The figure shown in system info is pulled from the EEPROM data written to the battery controller, which can differ from the actual measured cell capacity — it is a rated value stored at manufacture, not a live reading. The cell we ship is rated 48.84Wh at 4400mAh / 11.1V. To confirm the actual capacity, run one full discharge cycle to hibernate cutoff and back to 100%; the BIOS will update its stored value closer to the real figure after that cycle completes.

The new battery charges fine but the Advent 7093 BIOS health screen still says "Replace Soon" after several days of use — how do I clear it?

That warning is tied to a health percentage calculated from cumulative EEPROM cycle data, not from real-time cell voltage — the old cell's history is still in the register. Run one complete discharge from 100% down to automatic hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted back to 100% without unplugging mid-cycle. The BIOS recalculates the health value at the end of a recognised full cycle; one complete pass is usually enough to push the register above the "Replace Soon" threshold.
