Fits AlfaBot T30 and T36 cordless vacuums, replaces OEM battery SKU CS-PHW412VX for full motor power restoration.
25.2V lithium-ion pack with 4500mAh capacity delivers sustained suction on both hard floors and carpeted surfaces.
Battery slides into the handle slot with a single locking tab that seats flush when fully inserted.
We ran discharge cycles at half load and full load; the BMS held voltage stable until final depletion.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously — trickle charge cycles degrade capacity faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

AlfaBot T30 / T36 — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 25.2V, 4500mAh lithium-ion replacement battery for the AlfaBot T30 and T36 cordless stick vacuums. It slots into the same battery bay as the original and runs the same motor voltage rail. Capacity is drawn from product data: 4500mAh / 113.4Wh.

  • T30 and T36 compatibility: Both models share the same 25.2V battery platform, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. A single cell covers both units without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through motor-start and sustained suction cycles. The BMS handled inrush current on startup without tripping and held voltage stable across simulated floor and carpet loads.
  • Dock charging behaviour: Do not leave the T30 or T36 sitting on the charging dock after the battery reaches full charge. Continuous dock charging applies a low-level trickle current that accelerates cell degradation over weeks. Charge to full, then remove the unit from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The T30's motor controller pulls more current when airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder to maintain suction, which increases draw and causes voltage to sag earlier than the indicator expects. The battery indicator reads cell voltage, not current demand, so it can still show two bars while suction is already noticeably weak. This is not a battery fault — it is a load-side issue. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest suction performance.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then comes back after a pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a motor fault. When suction is sustained against a blockage or a dense carpet pile, current draw spikes above the BMS threshold and the protection circuit opens the output to prevent cell damage. After a short pause the BMS resets and the motor restarts. Clear any blockage, check that the filter is clean, and avoid running the vacuum at maximum power setting on heavily restricted airflow. If the cutout repeats on an unblocked machine, check that the battery contacts are fully seated — a loose connection can cause momentary resistance spikes that read as overcurrent to the BMS.

Frequently Asked Questions

My AlfaBot T30 loses suction halfway through cleaning but the battery still shows charge — what's going on?

A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current to maintain airflow, which causes voltage to sag and suction to drop well before the battery indicator hits low. The indicator reads cell voltage, not motor load, so it can look fine while suction is already compromised. Clean or replace the filter and retest — most cases resolve immediately. If suction is still weak with a clean filter, check that the dustbin is fully seated and the inlet is clear.

The vacuum cuts out during use, I wait a minute, and it starts again — is the battery faulty?

This is the BMS tripping on an overcurrent spike, not a failing cell. It happens when the motor draws more than the protection circuit's threshold — usually because airflow is restricted by a clogged filter or a blockage in the inlet. The BMS opens the output to protect the cells, then resets after the thermal load drops. Clear the blockage, clean the filter, and run the vacuum again — if the cutout stops, the battery is fine.

I charged my AlfaBot T30 overnight on the dock for months and now the battery barely lasts — did I damage it?

Yes — continuous dock charging applies a low-level trickle current after the cell reaches full charge, and sustained trickle current degrades lithium-ion cells faster than normal charge-discharge cycles. Over weeks this causes measurable capacity fade. A replacement battery will restore original capacity, but to preserve it, charge only when depleted, then remove the vacuum from the dock once the indicator shows full. Do not store the unit permanently plugged in.
