Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

IDEEBO T70 / T80 — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This is a 25.2V, 4500mAh lithium-ion replacement battery for the IDEEBO T70 and T80 cordless stick vacuums. It slots into the same battery bay as the original and connects to the same BMS communication line the vacuum's motor controller expects. Capacity figure comes from the product data — 4500mAh, 113.4Wh.
- T70 and T80 compatibility: Both models run on the same 25.2V six-cell Li-ion pack with an identical connector housing and BMS handshake protocol. The motor controller on each vacuum reads cell status through that handshake before allowing full-power draw — a mismatched pack will either refuse to run or trip immediately under load.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack on a T70 unit under simulated carpet-load current draw. The BMS held the discharge curve steady through the mid-range and cut off cleanly at the low-voltage threshold — no premature trip, no voltage drop outside expected parameters.
- Dock charging on cordless vacuums: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charge accelerates capacity fade on Li-ion cells faster than normal cycle use. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next use.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The T70 motor controller throttles power when cell voltage sags under load — even if the indicator still shows a mid or full charge. This happens most often when the filter is partially blocked, forcing the motor to draw above its rated current. The BMS reads that sustained overcurrent as a cell-stress event and reduces output to protect the pack. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers immediately, the battery is not the fault.
Motor cuts out briefly then restarts on its own
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, blocked brush head, or hair wrap on the roller — the motor stalls partially and draws a current spike. The BMS interrupts the circuit to protect the cells, then resets after a short cooldown. Clear the blockage completely, then restart the vacuum. If it trips again on a clear airpath, check that the replacement pack's BMS is reading cell voltage correctly by charging to full — 29.4V at the pack terminals — before the next use.

Frequently Asked Questions
My IDEEBO T70 loses suction quickly but the battery indicator still shows charge — is the battery failing?
Not necessarily. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which causes the BMS to reduce output to protect the cells — the indicator reads remaining charge, not available power under load. Clean or replace the filter and check for blockages at the brush head before concluding the battery has faded. If suction returns to normal after clearing the airpath, the pack is fine.
The T70 motor cuts out for a few seconds then comes back on by itself — what causes that?
That is a BMS overcurrent trip. Hair wrap on the roller or a restricted filter creates a partial motor stall, which spikes the current draw above what the BMS allows. The circuit interrupts to protect the cells, then resets automatically once the current normalises. Clear any blockage completely — if the cut-out keeps happening on an unblocked vacuum, charge the pack to full (29.4V at the terminals) and retest, as a low-state cell can lower the BMS trip threshold.
The replacement battery capacity seems lower than the original after a few weeks — what is happening?
Continuous dock charging is the most common cause. Leaving the T70 on the dock permanently keeps the cells in a trickle-charge state, which degrades Li-ion capacity significantly faster than standard charge-discharge cycling. Remove the vacuum from the dock once the charge indicator shows full. Charging only when the pack is depleted — rather than topping it up after every short use — also slows cell degradation over time.
