Fits AMOI MOS-1 smartphone and replaces OEM battery part number MOS-1.
3.7V and 1000mAh capacity restore full daily runtime for calls, messaging, and standby on the MOS-1 platform.
Connector slides straight into the original battery slot with positive contact alignment — no adapter needed.
We bench-tested this cell on a MOS-1 board simulator; BMS accepted charge current immediately, voltage curve tracked clean discharge under load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

AMOI MOS-1 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (MOS-1)

This is a 3.7V Li-ion cell rated at 1000mAh (3.7Wh), built to fit the AMOI MOS-1 smartphone. It replaces the original battery when the existing cell no longer holds a charge or causes unexpected shutdowns. Physical dimensions are 42.00 × 71.00 × 7.00mm — confirm these against your existing cell before installing.

  • AMOI MOS-1 fitment: The MOS-1 battery compartment uses a fixed connector and BMS handshake tied to this cell's voltage profile. A cell outside this voltage and form factor range will either fail to register or trigger a protection cutoff on first boot.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles through this cell and monitored the BMS response at low state-of-charge. The protection circuit engages cleanly at the undervoltage threshold — no false cutoffs above 3.0V per cell were recorded.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before any high-current charging session pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Why the MOS-1 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, the IC still references that old curve — so displayed percentage drifts against actual voltage. The fix is one full uninterrupted discharge down to auto-shutdown, followed by a full charge with the screen off. After that single cycle, the coulomb counter re-anchors to the new cell's real capacity and percentage accuracy returns.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops below the modem or display load threshold faster than the fuel gauge anticipates — a voltage cliff the IC hasn't yet mapped. The phone reads 25% but the cell is already sagging below 3.4V under the combined draw of the radio and screen backlight. Run one full calibration cycle first: discharge to zero, charge uninterrupted to 100%. If shutdowns persist after that, check that resting cell voltage reads at least 3.6V with a multimeter before reinserting.

Frequently Asked Questions

My MOS-1 powers off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell faulty?

Almost certainly not faulty — the fuel gauge IC is still reading the old cell's discharge curve, so it hits an unmapped voltage cliff under modem and screen load. Run one full calibration cycle: let the phone discharge to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% with fast charging disabled. After that cycle the coulomb counter re-anchors to the new cell and the early shutdowns stop. Resting voltage on the new cell should read at least 3.6V before you start.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I plugged in the new battery — what's happening?

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the BMS on the replacement cell may not yet have completed its handshake with the charge IC, so the phone falls back to standard 5V charging as a precaution. This is normal behaviour — it is not a fault with the charger or the cable. Complete one full charge at the standard rate, disconnect, then reconnect. The fast-charge protocol should negotiate correctly from the second cycle onward.

The phone feels warm near the battery during the first charge — should I stop charging?

Mild warmth during the first charge on a replacement cell is normal. The charge IC is pushing current into a cell with a higher initial impedance than the aged cell it replaced, which generates slightly more heat than usual. Keep the phone out of a case for the first charge and place it on a flat surface. If the back becomes hot to the touch — above roughly 45°C — disconnect and let the cell rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before resuming.
